The townhome was beautiful! Plenty of room for our family of 5 with more room to spare. I personally didnât read the description close enough, so did not realize there was no ac except for the 3rd floor loft area. My husband and I are very hot natured, so it was a little too stuffy for us. But like I said, no fault but my own for not reading the description closer. We also stayed in the middle of June, but it wasnât unbearable. Overall, the home was beautiful and we would most definitely stay there again, especially if we make a winter trip!
The house worked out perfectly. It was close to everything we wanted to visit. The living room was spacious and warm and inviting. We did some laundry, we didn't cook but there was pots and pans if we wanted to. The place was perfect for the 6 of us.

This is a very nice duplex home with beautiful bathrooms, kitchen, decks, etc. The place was very clean and well supplied with everything we needed. The reason we can't give 5 stars is the lack of air conditioning. We stayed for 6 nights and spent most of our time on the deck because the inside, including the main bedrooms was too hot. The only a/c is on the third floor loft which is accessed by narrow stairs. The two main bedrooms and kitchen/living room were not air conditioned. The listing on Vrbo clearly stated air conditioning but did not say only in the loft. We would not have booked had we known the whole place was not air conditioned. Otherwise it is a beautiful home with everything you need. Maybe a good place for a winter visit.
This was a nice property. The air conditioning in the loft was nice. We all should have slept up there. None of the bathtub drains would stop up in order to take a bath. They would just drain out slowly. When all the water was let out it caused an alarm to go off on the bottom floor. But, the owner was easy to reach about the problem and responded right away. It was very clean! This would be a perfect property for the winter, very cozy.
Our stay was great, minus the heat. We went in the middle of summer thinking there was a/c (based on the listing) however, the only a/c unit is in the loft area on the third floor. If youâre not good with stairs, this may not be the place for you. The house during the day got to around 78-80 degrees inside, even with opening windows at night and closing the windows and blinds during the day.
With that said, this place would be absolutely perfect in the winter.
Newly redone chalet was nice. Plenty of places to sleep. The kitchen table was nice and big. The heater was easy to use. The deck was very nice but could have used patio furniture. We saw deer in the yard every day! The water pressure in the showers was good, and we never ran out of hot water.
Bring your own coffee, coffee amenities and trash bags. Dumpster was not far for throwing trash out.
Needs new bedspreads instead of blankets as bedspreads. We were surprised at having to drive thru sketchy apartments to get up to the nice chalets but all of Durango seems to be mixed like this.
Nice home. Worked well for our family, especially the loft for kids. Lots of room to spread out and be comfortable. Was convenient to get the ski area and also to town
