Great place to stay if skiing/snowboarding in Purgatory. About 30 min drive to Durango.

This property received fantastic ratings online and we have stayed in this area before. With that said my expectations were set higher from previous trips. Upon arrival the entire home smelled so bad that we had to open all windows and doors. It took us a couple of hours to figure out the smell was coming from the garbage disposal in the kitchen sink. There was what appeared to be rotting chicken skin stuck in it. The carpets flat out need to be replaced. Covered in stains, and rips and just appears dirty. The master shower leaks no matter what you attempt to do when shutting the glass doors. The rug was covered in people’s hair and has obviously not been vacuumed or washed. There is a massive amount of construction right now. The builders dropped rocks the entire house shook. There are nails left everywhere along the roadways from the construction workers. This particular unit doesn’t mention being literally on the main road. Everyone in the house had a hard time sleeping from the constant sound of traffic. We had to leave the windows open because the unit is not equipped with air conditioning which is normal for the mountains, but it would have been nice to know this unit was on the main roads. The children’s room has really awful beds and my teen had to sleep on the coach. Beds are so important for everyone. If your main goal is being close to purgatory then this unit would be convenient. If you are just staying in the area to explore and relax, keep looking!

This is the second time that we have stayed at this location. The house is incredible, warm and cozy, and the host is very helpful and amazing.

We were very impressed with the condo. We had plenty enough space for our family of 7. The location was perfect as our teen was able to take the shuttle across the street to Purgatory whenever he wanted. So easy to just go back to the condo to eat and rest between skiing. Definitely would come back!

The location was perfect. The kitchen was well stocked. I was very disappointed with the cleaning. There were towels that were mildewed in the washer upon arrival. We had rewash them and dry them. There was food crumbs in the stove. The smoke detector was beeping non stop upon arrival. We tried to call the phone numbers and nobody would answer. We ended up having to drive back in at 10:00pm to buy a 9 volt battery so we could change it out just to sleep. We lost power and tried calling the phone numbers on day 2 and still no answer. They did not clean off enough snow to be able to get out of your vehicle on either side without stepping in two feet of snow. When I spoke to them after our stay the management did not seem to care too much about the issues. I left the cabin cleaner then we received it and even eased two loads of towels for them.

The property was exactly as pictured. It had all the amenities of home. Exceptionally clean and the property manager was easily accessible, friendly and quickly answered all our questions. Would highly recommend. Can’t wait to come back!

Great property. Just might want to get a new mattress in the queen bed room. It was really hard. The kid bunk beds were great and the master was wonderful.

The process was remarkably easy. My only recommendation would be to review the directions for the thermostat. We struggled with heat control a bit.

Townhouse was in a great location to Purgatory Resort. Literally directly across the street. Home was very clean and had tons of extra towels and blankets. Would definitely stay here again!

Great location, 30 minutes to Durango and 25 minutes to Silverton. House had great amenities, kitchen was very well stocked. Only drawback was the highway noise, the condo backs up to Highway 550. And it’s actually 2.5 bathrooms. There is a jack and Jill bathroom between two bedrooms. We had a wonderful time and the condo was very comfortable and beautifully furnished.

We lucked out and found this great property right across the street from skiing...could see the bunny hill right from our balcony. Place was clean, nicely decorated, comfy bedding and the shuttle to and from skiing was ideal! Would totally rent again!
