« The staff were very friendly, parti ularly the young lady that checked me in, sorry, I didn't get her name. I was uncomfortable with the five dollar daily charge for parking, especially because I have a disability hangar, which makes me wonder if that is a violation of the person's with disabilities act. The hotel is in a very convenient location with stores, eateries, and service centers nearby. There is a wonderful continental breakfast available and the young lady responsible for this station...

« Great home base for Oroville Lake. We stayed two nights. Place is easy to get in and out of. Hotel is up on a little hill away from casino. The lodging is cool, wish they had two bedrooms but the star suite is decent for two adults and two teens. The food in the AM is slightly lacking imo, and the buffet doesn’t open till like 11:00 am on a Sunday. And I don’t think you can get a mimosa or Bloody Mary in the morning either. « Room was very clean and staff were helpful. breakfast was minimal at best. It took 15 - 20 pumps on the coffee bottle to get a reasonably full cup of coffee. Dispensers for soap and skin cream aren't checked so they run out. Everything else worked well - hot water, shower, A/C, etc. If you need a place to shower and sleep, this place fills the bill nicely. If you need something more, it comes up short. »

« The beds in our room were really comfortable. Quiet and clean pet friendly rooms. Double luggage racks were provided which is really nice. Wonderful spread for breakfast with waffles and freshly made yoghurt. I like that there were cookies and cold water available near the front desk to welcome guests. Onyx was super helpful in checking us in. »

« DO NOT STAY HERE! Upon arrival, we spotted an un-housed person and his friend living under the staircase of where our room was located. We spoke to the front office women, who was very kind and she spoke to the (I’m guessing maintenance man or manager, not sure) man doing pool work, who did ask the people to leave. « As a Chico state parent that plans on making more trips to come in the future, I highly recommend Oxford suites. We have had an incredible experience from beginning to end. All of the staff have been super helpful, helping us to understand and utilize the accommodations. Their free shuttle to and from campus has been a huge help.
