« If I could have given zero stars I would have. The room was dirty when I checked in. It looked like it hadn’t been dusted in quite some time. There was a layer of dust on the air conditioning unit, and hair in the shower that wasn’t mine. I had spent some time away from the room and someone had broken into my room and used it. The staff did not apologize, and they told me I had to be the one to file a police report. The whole place felt unsafe, and nobody at the hotel seemed all that concerned....

« Clean room, good variety of items for the free breakfast including bacon, sausage, eggs, waffles, oatmeal bar, and other continental type offerings. Friendly staff. Easy check in. A Iittle warm and muggy in the main areas but not a deal breaker. »

« Our recent stay was excellent from start to finish. The hotel was spotless and well-maintained throughout, which is always a top priority for me. The staff truly made the difference, though. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and eager to help. A special mention to Hayleigh—she was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond for our family. « The room’s thermostat had a note taped on it that said you couldn’t use it; you had to use the panel on the heating and cooling unit below the window. The heating and cooling unit’s caulking showed signs of leakage (there were brown stains on the caulking). There was no clock in the room. The lighting was very poor. « Excellent staff but the place was very run down. Smelled like a dog when we walked in and our room smelled like old cooking grease. No shampoo in the bathroom. Dressers and furniture were really beat up. I get that it is not a luxury hotel, but for $250/ night (graduation weekend price gouging), it was hard to swallow. Not gonna extend my stay here. »

The signs say Fairfield but once we got inside the desk clerk said welcome to the comfort Inn by Marriott. Very confusing. Cleanliness and upkeep of the property was fair at best.
