« TrĂšs belle maison oĂč nous avons Ă©tĂ© trĂšs bien accueillis La chambre (n° 8) disposait d'une terrasse couverte ; chaque voiture a son emplacement et nous sommes informĂ©s par mail avant notre arrivĂ©e de l'endroit oĂč il faut se garer. Tout a Ă©tĂ© fait pour faciliter notre sĂ©jour : prĂȘt de DVD, de GPS, brochures etc... « My mother and I had the best stay at Heathwood Inn when we visited Bar Harbor this summer. The staff is amazingly nice and they even prepared for my last breakfast the famous pumpkin waffles I had seen in the comments and nicely asked for - if possible (they are so delicious). It is also very easy to move around the island as one of the island buses can stop right in front of the Inn, allowing you to explore Acadia without a car and struggling to find parking. Yass! »

« The property is rustic but nice. There is a bathroom with shower on 1st and 2nd floor but the water pressure in the house does not sustain use of both at the same time. The main kitchen refrigerator was not working during our stay. There are minifridges on the 2nd and 3rd floor but it would have been nice to have working main floor fridge. »

« Normally my wife and I are not big bed and breakfast people. However, Harbour Cottage had some of the best reviews in the Acadia National Park area. We gave it a try and we are so glad we did. The Inn Keeper, Arlo, was very helpful with advice on trails. The Owner, Don, was friendly and helpful with tour and restaurant recommendations.
