Bed was comfortable. I asked for Lakeview and was put in 301, last room on side of the lake but could only see trees. Molding was off in the bathroom. Could be better kept up. Surrounding area was pretty and convenient to location I needed.

Lovely location! Hotel seemed to have recently repainted rooms but the bathrooms were not updated. The room refrigerator was noisy and all of us are very congested from the air conditioner.

Thank you for responding. We agree the location here is beautiful. We are in the beginning stages of renovations the bathrooms and we have already replaced most of the air conditioners.

The water pressure is almost non existent. The tub was narrow and slippery. The sheets came off the bed from simply sitting on the bed. The air conditioner did not cool the room. The coffee maker did not work.

We're apologize that you did not enjoy your stay. Did you contact the front desk and ask for maintenance to address the issues or ask the front desk to change your room? I do not see any communication record with the front desk. Once we are notified we always jump into action and take care of the issue for our guests.

The room was very large and the bed was good and confortable. The bathroom was well organized but the tub/shower need a major upgrade. The tub floor is very slick and a rubber non skid rubber mat should be provided ASAP.

Our room was very dirty. The tub/shower had black mold all over the grout and tile. The shower curtain looked dingy as well. It was not worth the $183 we spent and we felt very unclean when we left.

Property had a weird smell in the hallways, mold in the bathroom, had to change rooms because strange stains in the comforter and walls. Toilet was brown. New room was a bit better. Staff was great and very accomodating.

The bathroom in my room was pretty gross, I looked like it had been cursorily cleaned but there was mold around the tub caulking and the toilet was dirty. The room I stayed in had nothing on the walls, except the hardware for hanging "art." Screws there, art no so much. The juice machine in the breakfast room did not work and breakfast was bare bones. In looking at the main profile photo, I realized that it was shot in 1969, from the moon. Wow, does this place need a refresh at a minimum. I asked to cancel my last night and the management flatly refused even a partial refund. No one working there seemed to care about the property or guests.

We use an aggressive pest control company and they have been out here almost daily over the past 6 or 7 weeks. The beds and pillow were very comfortable! The hotel is nice but need a little updating especially in the bathrooms. Overall, it was a nice place to stay, and the front desk staff were friendly as well. Sitting out by the lake in the evening was great!

When we first went to check in we were told that the hotel had been mostly full the night before and cleaning crew needed that time. She told us this without offering any solution, to keep our luggage, even mentioning a lunch spot to wait at. She also did this while sitting and did not rise.

Please accept my apology for the lack of communication on the Hotel part. We do not allow guest to check in until the housekeeping ladies are completely done in the rooms. We do not have any where to store any luggage in our office. This is also standard procedure. We wish we had more room or some where convenient to store guest items. I do apologize for the front desk agent who did not stand up when speaking to you. We do appreciate your business and hope to see you again.

Dated, not kept up.
Kind staff, but the hotel is old, hasn't been updated, has an old smell to it. The elevator floor has a weird tile patch job that catches on luggage when you try to roll it in. My bathroom sink faucet wouldn't stay on. The bedroom door latch kept catching, locking me in (I was able to get it open, but it took a lot of tugging). Business center printer was broken. Gym was old and dirty. Overall an uncomfortable stay!

Being that we are on the lake in Georgia, there are times when extreme humidity can cause some mildew to appear. We are sorry that happened in this case. As always, if there is an issue with your room please contact the front desk immediately to have the situation remedied or be moved to a new room. Our internal logs indicate that you did not contact the front desk.Our breakfast includes Jimmy Dean microwaveable egg products, waffles, and the standard continental breakfast fare. As with most businesses, at times we find ourselves short staffed. When fully staffed we offer more of a full breakfast on weekends. We have since filled that position and will be back to more of a full breakfast on weekends.

Please accept my apology for the Hotel shortcomings. We take reviews serious. I will have maintenance look into the musty moldy smell. We will begin having a real hot breakfast again n the weekends starting next week end. That is a tough position to fill. I am so sorry this was your experience. We have an aggressive pest control company we use regularly for preventative maintenance. We had them come and address the issue directly. It is hard sometimes to keep the ants out when the smell open food. We hope to see you again in the future.

We have stayed for over 5 years now at least one time a year. We enjou the location of being on the lake, close to a marina & the boat docks offered at teh Lodge. As time has passed we have watched it age. The management told us new renovations are in the works. Our room was clean & comfortable. We had a small housekeeping problem.I did explain my concerns or updates needed upon checkout and was told they were starting as soon as next week. We ae looking foward to returnig

The breakfast was advertised as full, it was not, due to covid still in 2023? did not like that wa misinformed. the bathroom had mold around the edge, the sink was very slow when emptying. the AC did not work correctly, the pool and hot tub. were closed. not ready to open. Very disappointed. As it was my 65th birthday, reserved a room with a water view, and was not given one, we were given a room on the first floor facing the parking lot

Thank you for your response. As with most businesses around the country we are having trouble filling positions including the breakfast attendant position. Once staffed, we will have a more complete breakfast on weekends.Our pool is open until October. The hot tub has been permanently shut down due to issues with guests continually using it after hours and disturbing other guests.The reservation you made through Expedia was a standard king bed with a street view, not a lake view. Due to the unbelievable summer heat and humidity we have had some issues with mildew in some bathrooms. I apologize that our team did not see that. Please note that if there is ever a quality issue with one of our guest rooms simply contact the front desk and we will make it right or move your room. If we do not know about it at teh time we cannot address it.

I understand completely. Unfortunately, like many businesses across the country we are short staffed and have not found anyone to fill the breakfast attendant position. As soon as we hire someone we will be serving hot breakfast on weekends once again.

Great potential spot. Just needs renovations and money reinvested. Staff are super helpful and friendly. The staff were one of highlights of staying here and would be the main reason to come back. They genuinely care about guest.
