We loved staying here! Although we didn’t the greatest of weather, we still enjoyed ourselves. Plenty of room for all our guests and accommodations were meant and available. The host was very welcoming and attentive.

It was just my husband and me. We were visiting family, and this house was a very convenient 3-minutes from their house. Quiet location; nice water view. House was very clean and comfortable.

Awesome stay

Very nice place and location. Lots of "starters" were available in the kitchen and baths. They even had large marshmallows and grahams for us to make smores on the fire pit. The hot tub was perfectly clean, as was the whole place. The owners communicated well and were very accommodating and gracious. Would recommend this place to anyone. Loved it!

Great place to stay

We were in town to see my nephew and his college football team play Navy on Friday night. The house was the perfect location to the Navy stadium and everything else we wanted to visit. We had 6 adults and were very comfortable with the amount of room this house has. The fire pit and hot tub were part of the reasons for choosing this place and they did not disappoint. The house was clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. I highly recommend staying here.

Nice place

The place was ok. Lots of rooms. Lot of space to relax. Not much of a view. Road was very narrow to turn around with larger car just for those that have SUVs. We could not use hot tub as smell was too strong of chlorine and giving all of headaches. Beds were comfy. Couches not so much as they were sectional and they did not lock together. House was very clean. Overall would probably pass on staying here again.

Great Place!

We have stayed at many places over the years and there were many small details that really made our stay enjoyable. The house was fully stocked with everything you would need. The house is clean, nicely decorated and we used the hot tub room daily. We were able to go to some of the local beaches on the Chesapeake Bay as well as spend a night in Annapolis which is also very close. The hosts were always responsive and a pleasure to work with. We definitely plan on returning!

Had issue with entry but the house and accommodation were perfect. One recommendation with 9 o Er people and two bathrooms would be to add a couple of mirrors for hair and makeup so everyone can be ready at the same time. We had a placement at Arlington so Friday morning timeline for departure was tight. We will use that house again if available.

Property Great Communication Poor

The house was great enjoy hot tub and overall space. Contact house management number providedand email 5 times with no response to calls, texts or email. Luckily it wasn't an emergency. But lack of washcloths only 5 for 8 guests. We purchased some during our stay and left extra.

Bath Towels were not fit for a dog, I complained immediately and they did not replace them.The 5 bedroom house has only 1 old smoke detector in the upstairs hallwayoutdoor grill was un usablegarbage disposal not working correctlyMold on the Guest shower tilesThe chlorine smell from the hot tub was so overwhelming we couldn't hang out in the room let alone get in the tub.Master bedroom quilt needs to be replaced,No door on the master bedroom,no closet for hanging clothes,Master shower liner was old and moldy.But here's the kicker, the home is partially heated by Oil (baseboards), the Oil burner located in the laundry room had visible signs of leaking all over the place with visible holes in the piping, fire hazard without working smoke detectors or carbon monoxide detectors, need I say more.

Spacious but Unusual Stay

The property was just beautiful. You could see the Bay from the front while the yard was wide and well-kept. This spacious property allowed for all of our group - 8 adults in total - to hang out together for a long weekend. However, the house was lacking some usage of amenities that it had advertised. While the firepit and hot tub were advertised, we couldn’t use them. This was very disappointing as this is the reason we chose this house for our stay. The firepit was gas-operated but could not be lit or used because it was out of gas. The hot tub was so overfull with water that a single person sitting in it made it overflow onto the floor. We dumped out several gallons using a large pot and still no more than one person could sit in it at once. There was a wine bar but no corkscrew. Similarly, there was a Keurig and French press, but no coffee grinder. There was barely enough silverware for meals for all of us, despite us being 8 people and the house being advertised able to support up to 10. This led to much dish-washing by hand for meals, which was furthered since none of the pots and pans were large enough to cook full meals for a party of our size. The dishwasher was also not bracketed into the floor, so every time you opened the door, it would wobble and feel like it was about to slide forward (and often did) or potentially fall. The windows of each bedroom lacked blinds, meaning that the motion sensor lights (which we were instructed NOT to turn off) flooded into the bedrooms frequently throughout the night. Some bedrooms had a front-facing window covered by a thin sheet of paper held up by a thumb tack as their privacy shield. There were no rugs or anywhere to wipe your feet when coming inside except tiny mats at the front door and one for each shower. This was frustrating, as our party came in and out or took the trash out frequently but did not want to track dirt inside. One bathroom had a beautiful ocean countertop and wall painting, which was always nice to see. While this house was beautifully spacious, clean, and well-kept, it’s clear the owners have never lived in it for any amount of time, leading to a lack of basic amenities such as these. If you have a large party and plan to spend no amount of time hanging out inside, using the firepit/hot tub, cooking, or doing anything except sleeping inside of the house, you may be better off looking elsewhere until these issues are addressed, especially for the cost.

A Wonderful Birthday Getaway!

This is a beautiful house in a natural setting, quiet save the sounds of Osprey, frogs and crickets. A newly remodeled home with many amenities. The yard is vast. string lights are charming, and the fire pit was great on the misty nights. With a table and few more chairs it'll be a greatplace to hang out when you're not in the water! Our host was readily available to answer questions and do quick repairs. Check it out!
