48hrs at Poa place, from the airport Eldoret, Iten
The place is quiet and serene. We checked in but our room was not ready so they gave us a place to wait. The place is well designed and it's close to town and not far from the airport. The food is absolutely sumptuous. The only improvements they could make are the shower that doesn't give enough hot water and the mattress is a bit firm.

I'v been here many times, the place feels like coming home. Staff is always very friendly and facilities like wifi have really improved in the last few years. Good prices too.

Recently Poa has made some good improvements, especially in the restaurant. I visited other restaurants in Eldoret but the quality of the food is excellent. Poa deserves to have more visitors because it’s a perfect place to stay. The cottages are good and stylish, the staff is friendly and the whole place is nice and quiet

I liked the lush foliage surrounding the individual cottages. The food was excellent and the service was also excellent!

Bed and breakfast- great! Other food- awful
The place itself is really nice, and breakfast at the Rock Bay restaurant is really great. Having a place for the kids to play was awesome, and not having to leave the hotel for activities for everyone was really great. My biggest problem was really with how terrible the other meals were that we had while there. Lunch and dinner were truly awful, and room service took two hours to arrive.

Poa place is an amazing place to stay ,i had to stay several weeks and i really enjoyed it ,very spacious bungalows with a beautiful private garden..All staff also very nice! Should improve the breakfast and heating inside rhe bungalow. Definitely will go back

Room was very clean and the staff was very friendly. However, the complimentary breakfast is not good or not the restaurant. There are plenty other places to eat. Would highly recommend staying here if traveling to Eldoret.

My stay in this hotel was amazing.The staff including the manager were ready to assist. The only area I would like them to improve is the breakfast part.

Ok hotel for low budget but could be better
Poorly maintained...no help with lugguage and pavement has broken stones so it's difficult to rolll lugguage, towels are not well washed and some are torn and look like floor rugs, showers did not have water on first day but later had little hot water. Meals are poorly prepared but staff are nice.

Nice rooms, great service, BUT the music!
The rooms were good, the staff were excellent, but the "music" kept us awake until 3 AM, in spite of several requests to reduce the volume. That being said, the manager has indicated that they were going to build a wall to block noise. If that happens, I would definitely consider a return visit.

Great but, Not for the weekend
The setting was beautiful. Like a secluded get away in the middle of the city. I loved the little cottages surrounded by hedges for privacy. The people were all great and would do whatever they could to make your stay wonderful. WiFi was fast, but only worked in the lobby. All that being said, the local disco plays their music so loud Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights that sleep is not possible.I would avoid staying there if it involved the weekend.

Great except
We loved the private cottages. Lots of greenery around and the people were very friendly. I would however warn anyone that over the weekend (Friday, Sat. and Sunday night) the nearby disco/bar is extremely loud. I loved the place, but would never stay there if my stay ran over the week end.

short stay in Eldoret
If you need to stay in Eldoret then this hotel is a real oasis of peace and calm. Very nice gardens and grounds and a really good zoo park with free entrance for guests. We chose the deluxe room and this was very spacious and comfortable. The shower was slow to warm up but when it did it was very good. The staff were friendly and helpful

Thank you very much for your feedback! We have recently upgraded our Deluxe Room showers. There should be no more slow water experiences.

Vietimme kaksi yötä hotellissa, hotelli sijaitsi kaukana keskustasta. Hotelli alue laaja, vartioitu ja suljettu alue. Hyvä jos alueesta löytyisi kartta. Hiljainen kausi, hotellin ravintola meni jo kuudelta kiinni ja muualle ruokailemaan halutessa, olisi pitänyt tilata taksi. Olimme majoittuneet marraskuun alkupuolella.

It was a beautiful place. The grounds were beautiful, hotel workers were nice. The zoo & historical site was a treat. I believe if they upgrade their beds & get newer and beds that are more comfortable & upgrade their room decor a little, then it will be a place where many others would want to come & stay at. I be believe they have great amenities there, with different restaurants, nicely manicured landscaping & pleasant staff, foot at restaurant was great.

Very good. Only bad thing is that all the restaurants at the place offer the same food and have the same menu card. And some of the food on the menu is only offered until 6 pm. So not a lot of food to choose between after 6 pm.
