« The house is well appointed with everything that you need to live there. There are a collection of toiletries as well as TP and PT. The kitchen has all you need to cook (stay like you live there) with seasonings -we added garlic powder, mustard, Mayo and salad dressing- all the small appliances and kitchen equipment is there. « Owners Tara and Jody Pinder were awesome. Very helpful from start to finish arranging our ride from the airport to our home. This included a 15 minute taxi ride along with a 15 minute water taxi ride where we met Tara with our golf cart waiting and a tour to our home. The cottage was lovely and felt like home. « My family of 4 stayed for 6 nights in late March. The house was clean and well equipped with comfortable beds. There are many chairs, coolers, towels, snorkeling gear, and even some floaties available for use. The view is amazing, I could never tire of the view. The beach is a short walk down a couple flights of wooden stairs. The sand is fine, soft, white with pink mixed in. You can walk for miles and miles in either direction. We will be back! »

The only disappointment is that we thought from the listing the large balcony facing the ocean would be private and adjacent to our unit, but it is the owner's balcony which we could access. « The house was very well appointed and well thought out design on a beautiful oceanside with excellent snorkeling right out front. The check-in process could not have been better. We were met at the airport, brought to the ferry, picked up right away by the property manager with golf cart waiting and brought to the home with no delay. Checkout was just as smooth. « House is very nice - also quite remote feeling but not far from restaurants and Governor’s Harbor. The beach is beautiful! Tenielle was a wonderful host! The only thing that could use repair is the long driveway. However, it is like many driveways on Eleuthera so I think you just have to expect it (but don’t be surprised as it’s quite a bumpy road). »

« We had a great week at Caribbean Sandcastle! Our party consisted of 4 adults & 3 kids (aged 9, 11, 13). We flew into Governor's Harbor which was just minutes from the house, picked up our rental vehicle, and the property manager kindly allowed us to drop off our luggage on the porch since we couldn't check in early. The proximity of the house to the road was a non-issue for us. There is a small house next door, but we still felt like we had the beach to ourselves. And what a wonderful beach!...

« The Beach Cottage was clean and ready early which was great since we had an early flight out of Miami. I communicated with Anne upon arrivial to the airport and the drive to the house was uneventfull,except for having two flat tires ..welcome to Eleuthera! The Beach House is closer than projected on the website and is above (on a hill) the Beach Cottage. That being said, the porch/deck on the Cottage has no privacy if the Beach House is occupied.
