The view is stunning, the access to the lake is perfect and allowed us to take advantage of kayaking, boating, and just taking in the beautiful surroundings on the deck. „What a wonderful find. 15 minutes to Acadia; 25 minutes to Bar Harbor. This 2 BR unit had everything we needed. James is a wonderful host. Easy to communicate with, helpful ( He even carried my heavy suitcase up the stairs to the unit). Beds were very comfortable.Area was quiet. We enjoyed looking a birds & wild turkeys out our window. Be aware the unit is up a flight of stairs which is clearly stated & shown in the pictures. I would stay here again next time I come to Maine.“

„The cabin was nice and in a beautiful location. Not a far drive to all the attractions. Our only complaint would be the heating system. When it kicked on it made a very high pitched sound that would continue while it ran. It woke us up almost every night due to its proximity to the bedroom. This may not bother most people but we are both light sleepers and feel its worth mentioning. The waterfront is beautiful. We spent alot of time enjoying the view. The bed/mattress was just ok.
