Time and again we marveled at how well stocked the kitchen, and the rest of the cabin, was. For those not familiar, the Ely area offers tremendous outdoor recreation opportunities for those with a variety outdoor skills and fitness levels. « We had an amazing time staying at the cabin on Loon Island. The cabin is beautiful, and is in fantastic condition. It has a full kitchen with all the pots, pans, plates, utensils, etc. you will need for cooking. The solar powered lights work extremely well, and we never had an issue using lights at night and charging devices during the day/night. « This is our second time staying here and we had just as wonderful experience! Great communication by the host was helpful. The rental is in an ideal location, being close to town, bike trail and lake. Excellent neighborhood to walk in. Perfect and roomy for our two families. Nature right out the back door too…we saw a Timberwolf (out of window in distance) one morning and deer often. Highly recommend and hope to return myself one day. »
