« Glebe Cottage was a lovely place to stay. The location was superb with views out to sea from the cottage and hot tub. The cottage was well appointed and very clean. I read other peopleâs reviews so brought some scissors. Bonus of having electric car chargers right outside the cottage. Itâs really thoughtful of the owners to mow the edges of the fields so you can easily walk to the coast or to Embleton village without going on the road.

« Lesley and Steve made us feel very welcome in their home. Our room was quiet and comfortable with quality bedding. Breakfast was plentiful and , included a cooked breakfast. Steve was an attentive host during breakfast. Parking at rear of property. »

"The staff were very friendly, and the location is dreamy â Seahouses is a charming seaside town with a lively main street, easy access to pubs, and the innâs restaurant has a genuinely lovely view of the sea.
Unfortunately, the room experience was very disappointing. Our room (39) was cramped, with stuffy air and no real comfort. Instead of the second double/sofa bed described, we were given a bunk bed â not at all what we expected, and a very unpleasant surprise. To make things worse, the room was at street level, looking out directly onto an unattractive parking lot and intersection, rather than the sea view we had hoped for.
For the price and reputation, I expected much more. While the staff and location deserve praise, the accommodation itself fell far below expectations."
