The location was great and has a nice little easement you can walk to, to get to the bay. There we tons of snook, sheepshead, and gar hanging around there. You could see portions of the bay from the upstairs deck. The beach access is really nice to have considering all the construction and closure of englewood beach. The area is in a nice quiet little nook. You'll need a car to get to any nearby restaurants, its not close enough for a walk. Its a quick drive to blind pass beach, which is generally easy to park at. Overall we had a great stay, we just wished the condo was a little bigger. Thats on us though..Its hard to beat for the price, especially given the private beach access! The area is really starting to recover from last years hurricanes, the majority of all the restaurants are open for business!Great communication with the propery manager, they resonded to any questions instantly!
Apartment was lovely. Clean, kitchen had everything you need.Unfortunately due to the Hurricanes there is far too much building/construction. Builders opposite using Jack hammers. Aircon workers drilling next door building far too noisy for us.Also there is virtually no beach this end of the island. What is left is covered in rubble. We stayed one night out of three. As I said it is a lovely apartment.
Property was exactly as described and perfect for what we were looking for. We were able to relax, watch sunrises on the bay side and sunsets over the ocean. The small beach wagon, umbrella, chairs, cooler, and beach towels were great for the short walk to the beach.
Nice place for my husband and I to get away.Very quiet neighborhood!Itâs got a cottage feel!I hope we can come back someday !A 3 minute walk to the beach!
We stayed in a lovely, small condo on the second floor. The apartment was equipped with everything we needed to feel at home. My daughter even said the couch was more comfortable than her own bed at home! We are grateful to the owner for accommodating our request for baking dishesâI baked a pie in the oven, and it turned out great.Communication with the hosts was easy via text, and we sincerely thank them for their support, even on Christmas Eve!The neighborhood was quiet and safe, though there was some construction work nearby, which caused daytime noise. The only issue we encountered was that the beach access was difficult to find. Since the property is advertised as having âprivate beach access,â it would be helpful if the host provided exact directions.Itâs worth noting that much of Manasota Key has been affected by recent hurricanes. As a result, both the public beach to the south and the state park beach to the north were closed. This was unexpected, but it didnât diminish the overall experience. Our stay was pleasant, peaceful, and restful. Although the water was cold, the beach was still beautiful, and we even managed to get a bit of a tan.Thank you for a wonderful stay!
The property was small and quaint for a couple just looking to get away from everything and just relax. The access to and from the beach was a breeze. Everything listed was as is and very cozy. Couldn't have asked for anything more.
This property was everything it promised to be. We arrived earlier than expected and were allowed to enter the property early, with ease. I would highly recommend this property and hope to stay there again in the future!
The property was as described; it was clean and appealing. It was disappointing at the beginning that beach access was roped off due to issues with damage done during the last hurricane. However we discovered a few days later that the access had been restored. The beach was lovely. Other guests in the four unit building were friendly. The distance from town was too far to walk and parking can be difficult in the area. But we made it work and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Heronâs Walk!
