« Such a cool space! Set right in the heart of Humboldt's famous redwoods, but only a quick drive to town (Fieldbrook, Blue Lake especially) and SUPER peaceful. We had plenty of floor space for my bestie to set up an air mattress as well. Hosts were super friendly and accommodating - would love to come back again sometime soon! »

« Kathy is a wonderful host. The house is well-equipped and very comfortable. The flowers around the house are beautiful. The best part is the location which is about 3/4 mile from the entrance to Jedidiah Smith Park. The trees there are amazing! Oh, and there is a terrific restaurant within walking distance and a gas station/market across from that. PERFECT place to stay to enjoy ALL of the Redwood forests. »

« Bigfoot Bungalow was perfect!! Great location in a safe neighborhood. Very clean, charming and spacious. Enjoyed coffee on the back porch in the morning, very private. Great location for Redwoods. Redwood visitor center in Cresent City looks very rundown (boarded up window) but worth stopping for Redwood map and advice from great park employees. Would stay again so worth it!! »

« If you’re looking for a clean, well-appointed place within walking distance of the coast, this cottage is it. Nothing fancy, but affordable and perfect for two couples or a family. We’d stay here again! »

« This rental ended up being even cuter than the photos! Note that it is a duplex. We didn't have any neighbors during our stay. Nice and clean, and we very much appreciated that the place and the linens didn’t smell of cleaner or fragrances. Great location close to Redwood National Park and the ocean. Our only small issues (which did not detract from our stay at all): the mattress does sag a bit toward the middle, and the bathroom sink drains a little slowly. « Great little place, you feel secluded from everyone but you are just down the street from everything. Beautiful area with LOT'S of amazing hiking trails. Definitely recommend! »

« Very clean and modern home. Home had modern style from bathroom sinks that give you a water temp while using, to big screen TVs in living room and bed rooms.House had clean laminate floors (no carpet), bathrooms and kitchen were also very clean and modern.Home is location is perfectly placed between Arcata and Eureka for easy access to both areas sites and restaurants. There is also a very good cafe within five minutes of the home. Great Coffee and food. Also very quiet area. »

« This house is so cute & cozy! It was one of those properties where you feel like you're staying at a friend's or family member's home; comfortable.....not stuffy or stressful with too many fragile knickknacks & strict rules! We loved the back porch for dinner and the hanging swings for reading & coffee. The place is well stocked so you don't have to run out for every little thing. My daughters loved the provided cookies & q-tips, haha! Very comfy beds with soft sheets. »
