What a disaster. Received a super sketchy notification the day before our trip that this listing was no longer owned/managed by the host. Hours of phone calls with Expedia and Vrbo confirmed that our family no longer had accommodations for our trip.
On further review, another individual had recently posted a negative review of this exact situation occurring to them with this property. I am still waiting to hear back from Vrbo about how they allowed this listing on their platform.
Interject more hours of searching for last-minute (EXPENSIVE) accommodations, super confusing and duplicitous emails from Vrbo customer support, and we are still trying to recoup the negative financial impact of this debacle.
I am hopeful Vrbo will do the right thing, but still in process at this point.
