Hotel Falaises Durham Heritage Coast

« This is a 100 yr old property that has been updated but a while ago. The rooms are small but the owner/staff was excellent and the stay was enjoyable. They included a made to order breakfast. Peterlee is a little out of the way but matched where we were going. Just stayed one night. »

« Nous avons été bien accueillis. L'hôtel est un ancien manoir situé dans un bel environnement. L'après-midi, nous nous sommes retrouvées seuls dans cet hôtel ! Nous avions l'impression d'être des châtelains. En dehors de la propriété, il faut faire des kilomètres pour trouver de quoi se restaurer correctement (le dimanche soir, l'hôtel ferme son restaurant). Nous avons passé une nuit très calme... »

« We had a lovely stay at the Dakota. We were greeted at the door by 2 staff members who were lovely and showed us to reception. Reception staff were lovely and friendly, engaged in conversation asking about our day. Wished me a Happy Birthday and our room was ready early, so was able to check in a good couple of hours earlier. Room was nice and spacious, clean and we could monitor the air con. Our overall stay was amazing and would definately reccomend. We didnt go in tbe restaurant/bar or stayed...

« Great time. Enjoyed a meal in the Rib room. Spa facilities were super and definitely great getting us ready for a wedding, also dealing with the consequences from the wedding. »

« Hôtel dans une batisse d'époque, en excellent état de conservation avec une impression de remonter l'histoire... Chambre 709 très agréable, rénové, avec une belle salle de bain (baignoire à bulle et douche séparées). Le signal wi-fi est excellent. Un seul repas pris au restaurant de l'hôtel : très bonne qualité et personnel serviable et sympathique. Petit déjeuner anglais et continental de qualité tout à fait correcte. »

« Very nice hotel conveniently adjoining the Railway Station. Pleasant and helpful staff and an excellent English breakfast. The hotel was once rather grand and could do with a little modernising, but it is still comfortable. »
