« Nice to have a host who understands and welcomes pets. This is very important to me and I am sure to other travelers. The property is beautiful and it was nice to have a grassy yard to go barefoot and great for a dog. Most country properties I have stayed in don't have a manicured lawn that is fenced in for furry friends. Loved the "moo moos"...lots of baby cows this time of year. »

« Just took time to sit back and relax. No city or traffic noises, just farm animals in the distance. Beautiful time sitting and looking over the pond and watching the horses and cows come and get in it. I will be back! »

« This was such a cute place to stay for the Round Top Antiques Faire. It was so quiet and peaceful and the bed was so comfortable. The claw bathtub was fabulous and the shower pressure was amazing! 5 star stay! »

« If you want an awesome weekend get away that isn't too far from your home, I highly highly recommend this place, especially with kids! My kids had so much fun paddle boarding, fishing, playing with the cows and other animals, chasing after the turkeys and peacocks, and playing with Bailey and Biscuit the farm dogs who are super friendly! « We had a great experience with this rental. The only thing we could think of as a slight negative is the lack of a box of Kleenex!! Great kitchen for making breakfast and a couple dinners. Plenty of comfy beds and nice bathrooms for everyone. Location was peaceful but not too far from town. We enjoyed the visiting deer. Would stay again and recommend it! »

« We stayed 1 night but enjoyed a gold cart ride thru a dirt bike track, a couple dips in the hot tubs, and played a few rounds of pickle ball. The shower was nice, huge tv and a comfy bed. The animals made it sweet »

« This place is so nice and clean! We stayed at the cabins by the lake and really enjoyed the peacefulness of the lake. Our girls 12 & 10 loved paddle boarding, fishing, smore's at night and using the awesome outdoor kitchen. If you're looking for a very relaxing vacation with tons of stuff to do with the kids, this is the place. Also the owner and staff are amazing!! »

« Really enjoyed are stay! great place and close to Smithville. Did a lot of driving and spent the night at the riverwalk, this place was great to come back too. If you want a real quite place look no further. »
