"A wonderful place on the earth. Great house reef for snorkeling (we saw reef sharks, turtles, octopus, anemone fish, box fish, fire fish and a plethora of snappers, fusiliers and other reef fish). Amazing beaches and views. Our two bedroom water villa was absolute world-class. Friendly staff. Good food at the buffet and great à la carte restaurants. Competent and safety minded dive staff. Great amenities for fitness, spa and our teens. For us a Maldives vacation is beaches, sand between the toes and enjoying the Indian Ocean. The reason we are not giving five stars is that almost all guests were driven around on electric carts. Sometimes it felt like walking on a busy commuter street getting back from dinner. A true luxury problem. But at this price and expectation level we will be strict. We might still very possibly be back."
