« Staying at The Lazy Bear was amazing. Such a beautiful place and so well appointed. From the view of the mountains and lake to the deer walking past us while lounging in the hot tub,we just can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay. 40 minutes to Fernie and 50 to Kimberly. Perfect spot for a ski vacation. Must be so beautiful in the summer as well. »

« We very much enjoyed our stay at this house, a group of families with youngish kids. The house was spacious and so close to the ski hill that made it easy to get up for a day of skiing. We found the house extremely well stocked for anything you would need to cook and clean - even had a lemon squeezer! The host was very communicative and responsive when we were out of an item it was quickly restocked. »

« The house was amazing, the only thing that should be changed is it is not a true ski in property. Crossing a gravel road in skis is not an acceptable ski in property. That said, the house was fantastic, well equipped, and very well set up. »

« The property was great, well equipped kitchen and lots of kid friendly dishes. Hot tub and gear drying room are top notch. Beds were comfortable, furniture is great and the views amazing in all directions. The cleaning crew could do a better job but good help is hard to find in a town like Fernie. Wouldn’t stop us from going back tho. »

« Great ski lodge! Cozy. 5 minute walk to the lifts/village. Only issue was not being able to control the hot tub temperature… it was too hot to use unfortunately. Everything else was great! »

« Group of old-dude skiers have hung out a lots of VRBOs and ski resorts over the years Really enjoyed this house - appears recently remodeled, nicely decorated and well equipped (kitchen supplies and utensils, appliances, etc ).
