This stay was fantastic. Property is well tucked away. Clearly everything was thought out about making a couple comfortable. Plenty of pillows, blankets, beautiful dishes and cooking supplies. The view was beautiful even with the rain sitting in the loft above the trees was fantastic. Our stay was very homey, i loved finding the guest books which are tucked quietly away. Washer and dryer worked great, very quiet once the sliding door is closed. Personally appreciated the assorted teas and fresh water in the fridge. Only two issues is i couldn't figure out how to use the oven or the telescope. I chose to not worry about, Im sure they would have helped if i reached out. I cant wait to go again.

Very nice stay and the house was very unique! Makes me want to buy one! Just note entry to the property is just to the right of the house down the driveway. I arrived late and the homeowner was kind and directed me. Just saw a few posts on trying to find the drive. Great stay and would recommend!

Poor driveway and temperature control

Although the space was lovely the driveway into the property was inadequate in that that it was rocky and unpaved. I luckily had an SUV to make it there/back, doubtful it would be as easy with a sedan. The first night was uncomfortable as there was no air conditioning. After calling the next day they informed me how to use the remote, and it was bearable the 2nd night- but poor airflow made it still warm in parts of the house.

This was such a beautiful place to stay. The windows in the bedroom alone and the view just did it for us! The only reason why I give 4 stars is because the AC was low performing. There needs to be a new unit installed that actually cools the building off to the actual temperature reading it is set on. We were so hot at night we had to not use the sheets and put on the artic fan we had to go and buy. They have a fan in the room but the output is also proof. For those wanting a cold sleeping environment it was really hot. Hopefully the owners will take this into consideration as we woll most definitely come back if so

Charming Starlight Casita

The Starlight Casita has been one of our favorite places to stay. It was easy to access and in a great neighborhood. It shares a lot with another home, but you have privacy and a beautiful view. The home itself is beautiful and has everything you need. We enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the wildlife and the beautiful night sky. It was a wonderful trip and we highly recommend if you are in the area.

Only real complaint was the bed, it was soft and clear but sunk down in the middle to the point it would roll you to the center of the bed and just never could get comfortable.

Really cute place.

I was just there 2 nights. In town for a family wedding, so my time there was limited.Super quiet, comfy bed, plenty of hot water, fluffy towels, etc. were great. The link sent with instructions was awesome. I definitely needed the navigation assistance to get there. The inside lights were on, & it was very welcoming.Only suggestions or concern I had was the path to get to the door at night was not well lit & some overgrown cypress branches are hanging over the path to the steps. The solar lights on the steps were not working. I'm older & the loose rocks & area were a challenge in dress shoes in the dark.And the sunshine coming in the top windows is lovely, unless you are warm natured, trying to get ready for a formal wedding. Did everything with the AC I could to get the temp down, but it was still in the 80's. Otherwise, I think it was wonderful, beautiful view of the hill country.

New Years Escape

Beautiful location, wonderful ambiance, special place to “ring” in the new year. Checked in on the 31st, checked out the 1st. Left extra firewood and starter by the pit and the broken adirondack chair; the chair collapsed when I just sat down( I weight 205 lbs).

Perfect for Wurstfest Weekend

This was the perfect spot for our first Wurstfest weekend. You’re only about 30 minutes from the venue and it was nice to come back to some quiet hill country after a long day at the festival. The home was very clean and had everything we needed. The only thing I’d recommend is to add a bath mat as the shower is a little slippery. I highly recommend this cute little getaway to anyone!

Remote Hill Country Cabin

Secluded tiny house style cabin in the Hill Country near Canyon Lake. Like new immaculate condition property. If you’re looking for quiet and solitude within an easy drive from a grocery store and restaurants this place is it. Perfect for couples looking for a weekend away. Stars are beautiful!

The tiny home was beautifully done and clean. However, I didn’t get much sleep for two reasons. 1. The mattress rolled my spouse and I to the middle and was uncomfortable for that reason waking up with a sore hip and back. 2. Woke up to a scorpion on my foot😬. Not uncommon for critters in this location. Just didn’t help with sleeping either.

The tiny house was wonderful and most everything was perfectly prepared and ready for the stay. We used a mix of heat and air conditioning and both worked well. We didn’t cook but it appeared as though you could easily, it was a small but full kitchen. The shower had plenty of hot water, the tapwater was drinkable (I have stayed in some places with some pretty rough well water, this wasn’t one of them). Everything to do with the house itself was near perfect. If I were the owners I might throw in an iron and small ironing board, that was the only small detail lacking. As others have said, the main house is only about 100 feet away but there is a good amount of privacy. I think one morning we heard the owner take her dog out in the backyard other than that you do have a feeling of solitude. Having never been to the area I thought there might be an opportunity to do some walking from the tiny house, there really isn’t there are other homes in the area and the property is fenced off not far from the outdoor fire pit. The fire pit itself was ready to go, wood and starter sticks were next to it and we enjoyed an evening with a nice small fire. The Canyon Lake area is OK, there are some decent eating and entertainment locations not quite as much as I was expecting. The property is about 10 minutes from a nice grocery store, Brookshire Brothers, and 10 to 15 minutes from a coffee place and breakfast options. All in all an easy 5/5 stay.

Relaxation in a Rustic and Refined

This modern tiny house provided a refined relaxing experience in a rustic hill country environment. The view was exquisite from the near hill Top perch overlooking the Canyon; especially from the additional mattress and heights of the loft. The bedding is super comfortable, amenities basic and covers all the bases (although a cutting board larger than 6” x 8” would be an added benefit for guests for cutting steaks/pizza.) the lawn chairs are dry rot from sun and cold temp exposure, one broke and other also brittle. I look forward to another stay.
