Outdoor Living

One of the best parts of the house is the outdoor space. The oversized, two-level covered decks offer plenty of room to relax and enjoy the mountain scenery. Soak in the private hot tub, sip your morning coffee, or wind down in the evening while watching the changing colors of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

The house also has a Blackstone flat-top grill for guests to use. It's a great option for cooking breakfast, burgers, or an easy dinner outdoors.

Spacious Living Areas

The open-concept main living area features vaulted tongue-and-groove ceilings, a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace, and large windows that bring the mountain views right inside. It’s a comfortable gathering spot for family and friends, whether you’re spending a quiet evening in or bringing everyone together after a day of exploring.

The lower-level game room offers fun for all ages, with a pool table, vintage arcade console, Skeech table game, and a flat-screen TV. It’s a great place to gather for some friendly competition, especially on rainy days or cozy mountain evenings.

The primary suite is located on the main floor and features a king bed, deck access, and a private bathroom with a soaking tub and separate glass-enclosed shower. A convenient half bath is also located on the main level.

The home has five bedrooms across three levels, offering comfortable sleeping arrangements for families and groups of up to 12 guests.

Main Level: Bedroom 1 – King bed, private full bathroom; separate half bath on the main level.
Upper Level: Bedroom 2 – Queen bed; Bedroom 3 – Two double beds; cozy loft lounge and full bathroom.

One of the best things about The Magnificent View is its location right between Boone and West Jefferson. Both towns are just a 17-minute drive away, making it easy to enjoy local restaurants, shopping, breweries, and everything the High Country has to offer. Spend the day driving the Blue Ridge Parkway, visiting the shops and restaurants in Boone or West Jefferson, floating or enjoying activities along the New River, or heading to nearby ski slopes in winter. Whether you’re planning an outdoor adventure or a relaxing weekend at the house, there’s plenty to enjoy in every season.

There are also some fun destinations close to the home:

Frosty’s Christmas Trees & Old Barn Winery: 14-minute drive. Visit the Christmas tree farm during the holiday season or stop by the winery for a relaxing outing.
Saloon Studios: 12-minute drive. A fun nearby destination for fans of Westerns, movies, and entertainment.
Cascades Trail: 14-minute drive to the waterfall hike parking area. Enjoy a scenic walk to one of the area’s beautiful waterfalls.

Parking & Gated Community

The Magnificent View is located in a gated community, offering an added sense of privacy during your mountain getaway. The property has parking for up to four vehicles, with additional parking available along the lower side street if needed (please let us know).

Laundry & Convenience

For added convenience, the home has two stacked washer and dryer sets—one on the main level and another on the lower level. Having two laundry areas is especially helpful for larger groups and longer stays.
