Very responsive owners. Great property in a great location. Perfect for Folly beach. Not too close to the bars/restaurants to be loud. But also a short walk to the center of town. Easy beach access as well right in 3rd ave.

Amazing house and host! Family of 11 stayed and we were all comfortable! We celebrated Christmas and a birthday and had game night! Lovely home with everything we needed! The game room was a big hit for the kids! If I were to say anything that was needed I would have liked to have had a second tv. Host were quick to respond!

This is a lovely house well-located just close enough to walk to Center Street, Bert’s, and the Beach, but just far enough away that you’re in a secluded retreat away from the hustle/bustle. The photos and descriptions are true to form and the house has everything you need. We went out to dine a lot, but next time I’d like to try all the various grills, pizza ovens etc. as the owners clearly like to cook good food. The pool was heated (for a slight fee) and the whole back yard is an oasis. I definitely recommend this house for a group looking to stay on Folly.

Perfect Location for Great Vacation

Our family group of nine, ranging from 7 to 84 years old, thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything we wanted was in walking distance: Five minutes to the beach, to the market, to tennis courts, or to numerous restaurant options. The kitchen was well stocked and easy to work in. Hosts were quick to answer any questions and offer many suggestions for activities. Of course the beach was the main attraction for the children, but we all especially enjoyed spending afternoons in the pool shaded by live oaks and surrounded by well tended flowers and shrubs that offered beauty as well as privacy. We would whole heartedly recommend a stay here.

Perfect Getaway

We had an incredible stay at Serentiy Shores! This home is beautifully appointed and we were impressed by the detail and comfort of the space. The interior is artfully and thoughtfully designed—every room is spacious, clean, and has a welcoming feel. The kitchen is fully stocked making it easy to cook at home when we wanted to. Another standout feature was the fabulous private pool! We spent hours enjoying the peace and privacy after a day at the beach. The location of this home is minutes to the beach and town. Plus, Charleston is just a short drive, which allowed us to easily take in the historical charm of the city and a minor league ball game.

My Family(11 of us) had a wonderful time at Folly beach. Serenity Shores is such a beautiful property. The landscaping and pool is terrific. The house is very nicely furnishing with plenty of room for 11 people to feel very comfortable. Easy walk to ocean and restaurants. We would definitely book again the next time we vacation at Folly

The home is so spacious, clean, appointed with many items that a beach trip needs. It is comfortable for 7 adults and 3 children, including a nice work space for someone that needs to stay plugged in! The kitchen has everything a "chef" needs! The bedrooms are all comfortable and the bathrooms are updated and some so cute! The artist has added such amazing details throughout the inside and outside of the home. The front porch is a great space to gather, both for conversation and meals. The pool is both shaded and sunny during the day, making it a great place for children to play. The firepit was great! S'mores were a hit for everyone! When we first got there, the mosquitos were pretty bad. I called the owner and they immediately sent over the people to spray and we didn't have an issue after that. We rented a golf cart, making our trips to the beach and town so easy. The golf cart rental is just up the street, walking distance.

60th Birthday Weekend

House is beautiful, with plenty of room. The decks and pool area are a great place to gather. Landscaping was beautiful and well maintained. The top floor sun deck provides amazing views of the sunset and star gazing. Check in was easy, and the location is great. Just a short walk to the beach and restaurants/bars on Folly. I would recommend this home to anyone, it is a great property.

Great Location!

House was just as depicted online. Nice pool in a private well landscaped back yard. Plenty of beach chairs and towels to accommodate everyone in our party. Kitchen was well equipped. Short walk to the little town of Folly Beach as well as the beach. My favorite touch - toilet paper, paper towels, soaps etc. were provided to get you started! Hosts were very reachable to communicate with.

This home is very unique in style and design. Obviously artist owned. Landscape is beautiful and serene. Great home for a large group. Kitchen is fully equipped! Pool was not clean. Deck and pool area had a good bit of debris. Primary bedroom needed much nicer sheets and a cotton mattress pad over the waterproof pad would have been much more comfortable. Also, primary BR does not have blackout curtains. There was a good bit of light that came in at night and room is bright as soon as the sun starts to rise.

Beautiful and incredibly relaxing

Serenity Shores was absolutely amazing in every way. It was beautiful, clean and looked exactly like the photos posted. There were 12 of us who stayed there ranging in age from 21 to 82 and everyone was happy and comfortable. Everything we could have possibly wanted or needed was there. The beds were comfortable, the water pressure in the house was great and the kitchen was stocked with every appliance, and kitchen cook ware and utensil you would need to prepare any meal. The washer and dryer worked great and the laundry room was stocked with laundry detergent, clorox and everything you would need to do laundry. The furniture on the front porch, the deck and the pool area was super comfortable. The back yard was amazing and was perfect for us for entertaining. The pool was wonderful and very relaxing, especially at night. There were several grills and a pizza oven. The gym was also a huge hit and the equipment worked great and was perfect for a work out of any intensity. The location was perfect and only a short walk to the pier, beach and local eating establishments. It was safe and we were comfortable walking to the beach and pier at night also. While here, my family had also rented a second vrbo a few houses down from Serenity Shores and a Hotel downtown. Serenity Shores was everyone’s favorite and served as the hangout and meeting place for everyone. In addition, Amanda was an awesome hostess. She was very accommodating and exceeded my expectations.

Lovely place!

I gave 5 stars to everything asked. Amanda was great and always communicated with me! Not sure why there is a four there but it should be a 5 plus! We were there with 6 adults and 5 kids, ages 4-16. There was room and something for all. The kitchen was very well equipped! We could walk wherever. If was a very fun place to stay!

Thanksgiving at Folly Beach

This house was perfect for our family’s Thanksgiving get together. We had multiple generations together for the holiday and the house accommodated us all perfectly with the bunk room for kids and several guest rooms for the adults. The house interior is beautiful and the kitchen was well supplied (something we appreciated greatly when making Thanksgiving dinner). The backyard is a beautiful garden oasis and I’m sure must be even more enjoyable when the weather is warmer. The gym was also a nice bonus.

Family Time

The property exceeded our expectations in every possible way. The owners have literally everything at your disposal….we only needed to bring our clothes! The house is beautiful, clean, accommodating for all age ranges. My husband and I took my in-laws (75 +) to visit our daughters (22 and 24 yrs) and we ALL loved the property! Beautiful and very spacious inside and outside to accommodate larger groups. The owners communicated very well anything I asked even about the surrounding areas. This would be a perfect getaway for families with little ones as well. The beach is just a short walk at any time of the day….but you won’t want to leave the house once you get there! Amazing property and amazing owners!! Thank you for sharing your lovely home!!!!

Best in Class Rental - Folly Beach Four Seasons

We would give this home 6-Stars. The home is absolutely gorgeous with everything you could want - fitness room, resort pool & patio, firepit and amazing rooftop patio. Also, the rental is well stocked with cleaning and cooking supplies. It's an absolute 5-star+ experience and the location is the best on the island only 2 -3 blocks from the bars & restaurants and beach. Also, the hosts are very gracious and responsive. They really care that everything is perfect.

Amazing Stay

Literally, a perfect stay. From communication on the booking to simple check-out steps, everything was amazing. The house is wonderful and the location is ideal. We were able to walk to the beach and downtown for meals. The gas fire pit on the upper balcony made for a perfect setting to watch the sunset and relax. We will definitely be back!

Fabulous!

Every single lady in our group of 10 gives this house a 10 out of 10!!!! Absolutely the most fabulous house and the very best location! We enjoyed the house, the warm pool and the fantastic foods/nightlife in Folly Beach. Perfect distance to Charleston for day trips and not far from Savannah, GA if you wanted to spend a day there too!
