Hôtel Folwell, Rochester

« The kitchen setup and laundry setup was excellent. The bathroom vent fan did not operate. The 2 chair setup for television viewing was small and uncomfortable. As well as there was no setup for a cup of coffee while watching tv. The location of television and the limited wall cable length restricted the ability to position the tv screen to enable viewing from the bed. The bed mattress was very firm. The location of the hotel to the hospital is excellent. »

« We appreciated the shuttle service to Mayo Clinic. Located in a growing business area on the Southwest Side, there is dining walkable to the hotel. »

« Great experience at the hotel itself. Poor experience with Expedia. Got the complete runaround when trying to cancel one of three rooms. Bought insurance to prevent exactly this and got no where. Won’t book through them again. »

« It is a great hotel. The facilities are new-looking, and the EV charging is free. plentiful and handy, and the breakfast has many options -- including for vegans. We did have a closet door falling off, and there were no signs explaining how to lower the blinds (it was an unlabled walls switch far from the blinds). I would suggest signage on that. »

« Hôtel récent, bien placé et proche de toutes commodités. Le séjour n’a pas très bien commencé car on devait avoir un canapé-lit pour nos enfants : il était bien là, mais pas déplié et lit pas fait. On a donc demandé du linge de lit à l’accueil et on a fait tout ça nous-mêmes… Chambre grande, avec une kitchenette. Le ménage et le changement de serviettes n’est pas fait tous les jours, il faut demander. On a eu un problème dans la salle de bain ; les lumières ne s’allumaient plus, et il a fallu...

« Coming to visit the Mayo Clinic was a difficult journey, yet every single employee we had contact with was amazing! We felt well cared for and our every need was met! The breakfast was wonderful each day; the front desk folks were always helpful and thoughtful. We greatly appreciated the rides to various parts of Mayo whenever we needed to be there. We will definitely return. »
