« The room was very clean Bed was good but could feel the springs a bit, although comfortable enough to sleep on The food was excellent especially the Sausage and Mash and the Steak and Ale Pie, good portion sizes, very friendly staff. »

« Staff not very friendly (both on check in and check out). It seemed as if they would like to be anywhere except where they were then and there and they did not seem keen to help with anything. The walls are very thin and people speaking in the corridor sound like they are in your room. You can also hear everything outside. Did not have a good night's sleep and would not book to stay here again. »

« This is a beautifully renovated hotel a short drive or bus ride from Brighton. The bus comes every 10 minutes and it’s a pretty drive into town. Our room had a gorgeous view over the south downs and the sea. The staff were friendly and attentive. The breakfast was lovely. The bed was super comfortable and we had a great night’s sleep. Would definitely recommend. »
