I never met the host, but he sent his neighbors to welcome me. I have never rented a cleaner or better organized studio unit. The location was on the quieter south end of the Hollywood Beach Boardwalk, but still only a 10-15 minute walk along the Boardwalk to get to the heart of it. The views from the unit or its patio area looking out to the ocean were very nice. We had a great time.

The place itself was excellent of course right on the beach in a quiet place. However I did not notice the late check in time and early checkout time. Our plane arrived super early and we asked for an early check in. Stated there was a fee and the fee was 100 if you checked in at 11am or 2pm didn't matter. To be fair we were able to store our luggage in the garage and use the bikes. You cannot request to check in until about 1/2 hr before 4pm and then was not given the code until exactly at 4pm. I just think that is a little harsh. I have never had another VRBO host do this. The place was very nice though just be mindful of the in and out times and plan accordingly.

We had a relaxing 4 days in Hollywood beach! Accommodations were clean looked just like the listing photos. Patio is shared with two upper units which were vacant during our stay so we had it to ourselves.

We came to stay in Hollywood, FL for a long weekend and this was the absolute prime location. My husband and I agreed that we had booked the perfect place and enjoyed our stay so much! The views and access to the boardwalk are 1st class and the added bonus is the beach chairs and bicycles to ride around and visit all the local shops, bars and restaurants. Scott was a fantastic host and is fantastic at communicating with you during your stay. If you have any issues he will take care of them very quickly. You can tell that he takes pride in his place and it shows with the cleanliness and quality of everything in his home. We would highly recommend.

Absolutely loved this place. Let’s start with location, location, location. Footsteps from the beach. Chose it because we knew it was on the quieter side. Having said that, it’s a short walk to where all the shops and restaurants are. Waking up every morning and sitting outside with coffee and watching the sun rise was amazing. The place itself was immaculate. The instructions on how to get inside were very clear and our host was always available. He also gave us a couple of good suggestions of things to do. Very clean. Everything Clearly labeled as to where it went. Everything that you could need was provided. Loved the “extras” in the garage: beach chairs, bicycles and floaties. Amazing place. Look forward to booking again.

Short Anniversary Trip

Our stay was only 4 nights but we completely enjoyed it! The location was quiet, convenient to the airport and steps out to the beach. It was well stocked, loved that we didn’t have to pay for beach chairs and bikes to ride. It was perfect for 2 people and we would definitely return!

Warm Air Therapy

The studio is perfect for a couple. I honestly cannot think of what else you could possibly need. The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking. The location and beach are perfect as well. We are already planning on returning next Winter, while it is cold at home.

Weekend Getaway

We spent the weekend here, and it was perfect for two. The host had great communication and has put a lot of time and effort into creating an amazing space. The apartment is true to the pictures, spotless and we didn't want for anything. Bikes, beach gear, a stocked kitchen, outdoor seating, and towels were all provided. Plus everything is well taken care of and labeled for ease. The patio is beautiful - you cannot get a better view. We look forward to visiting again. Thank you for having us and for making a memorable trip!

Hollywood Beach - What More Do You Need to Know?

We truly enjoyed our 8 days. The very small space was fine for the two of us. Well styled with large format marble tile, good appliances and queen bed. The furniture is arranged oddly with the vinyl sofa literally jammed up against the bed and no sitdown space except that sofa - yes, there are two stylish stools at a very modest counter space but it is very cramped. We cook and that was a tall order in this space, too. No wine glasses. No glass at all so the option to pour a glass of wine isn't there - yes there were 2 plastic stemless beverage containers which were worn and scarred. There were several goblet size plastic glasses that we found too clunky. A very unappealing intro to this property. I phoned Scott who explained that glass breaks on the hard surfaces and they replaced them with plastic. He did offer to send a cheese grater since there was not one. We did love the location on Hollywood Beach and the very short walk to actually sit at the ocean - the very best feature of all - why we came - it's an old area with quaint homes and apartments that are highly appealing. Wonderful slices of the community as ebikes roll up and down the broadwalk, not boardwalk and many strolling couples and groups enjoy this rare luxury to promenade up and down from early morning til darkness. The outdoor terrace is also quite a nice space behind a sturdy fence and wall and intimate with the stroller, rollers, runners and that sand - oh my, that sand!

Awsome stay right on the beach !!!

Great location right on the beach. The unit is spotless and very clean, with all new high-end appliances and fixtures. Directly on the Boardwalk with access to everything you need just steps or minutes away. You can't beat the view !!The host Scott is top-notch and easy to communicate with.I would definitely stay again

Too small and not comfortable

While the kitchen and bathroom are clearly updated and lovely, the bed is very small and they sofa bed cannot be opened due to the very narrow space between the wall and the foot of the bed, which is where the sleeper sofa is wedged. We did not stay any time or use any facilities after realizing the two of us would not be comfortable in the small space within one hour of arrival. In addition, the dorm like bedding, single towels, flat pillows, and signs and instructions posted left an uncomfortable feeling… Did not refund a single part of our four day booking or any cleaning fees, in spite of nothing being used. Very disappointing experience. Do not recommend this for more than one person.
