« Not a safe place for a single woman traveling alone. No staff present when I arrived. Interior was not as pictured. Grateful to get a refund and do not feel this property should be featured on Expedia. »

« Great find!!! Great staff! Awesome spa area which was maintained very well, and fun little bar. The only it did lack was food on premises, but, literally right outside the hotel doors, there are plenty of options! All around a great hotel »

« I stayed at the Hampton McHenry for 10 days and had a very good time. The room was clean, large and quiet. Nice pool and small fitness center. I particularly apprieciated the breakfast buffet : good choice or meals and fresh wafers! Free Wifi with above average speed. Coffee available all day in the lobby! »

« The egg smelling water is terrible. But the ice machine must have had a filter because it was ok. We went to the store and bought drinking water. There is a broken hand rail on the stairs leading into the hotel which could be hazardous if you didn't notice it. Bring your own bath towels, they are thin and small. If you have a river view it is nice. Nice mini frig that was cold and a nice microwave. Decent value for what you get. »

« The staff was absolutely fantastic. We would definitely stay here again. Was with my family of 5, and it was a really good option for us. Pool and hot tub were great. They keep both at a very nice temperature - pool is warm and hot tub is hot (probably 103° or so). Breakfast was good. Right next to a Kwik Trip which was also a nice perk. »

« Suite was clean as a whistle, great value. Staff was friendly, greeted me at front desk immediately at around midnight. Breakfast was good, liked the turkey sausage. Overall I had an ideal stay here! »

« We love the view from the hotel, and you can't have a better location. The staff is very nice and helpful. There was no restaurant but it is supposed to open in June. Some of the rooms seem to be in need of an upgrade. My mattress was lumpy and the heat/air unit was noisy. »

« Hotel was just as described. Room was spacious, and clean, Comfy beds. Lobby smelled of smoke so I was worried but our room was very nice. The girl at the desk was super friendly and did her best to be helpful at all times. Every time I left or came back, the staff asked if I needed anything. Thank you.😊 »

« Terrible stay while traveling through Waukegan, Illinois at Days Inn Wyndham. The condition of the room did not meet basic standards- damp odor in the room. There were hair strands lying on the towels folded on the sink in the bathroom. Dents and cracks throughout the bathrooms door. The shower was backed up with mildew presents and there were noticeable stains, peeling paint in the tub area. In addition, the stay was further disrupted by the housekeeping ladies knocking loudly on the room...

« Room had a smell of cat urine, bathroom was cold no vent or heat. There was no hot water and we were up graded to the jacuzzi room and was not able to use it due to the lack of hot water. Informed front desk of hot water issue when we checked out and we’re told to let the hot water run form15-20 minutes and then it should be hot. Terrible room will not be back. »
