I rented this property for my daughter who was getting married locally this weekend. She and 2 bridesmaids stayed Friday evening after the rehearsal dinner and venue set-up. They arrived late at dark and couldn’t determine where the driveway/parking was, so they parked at the boat launch. My daughter said there was hair on the bedding and spiders/cobwebs in the cottage….which I guess I expected would have been cleaned up prior to arrival. The twin beds were so hard they couldn’t even sleep on them. One ended up sleeping on the couch and the second slept in the main bedroom with my daughter. The mattress sank in the middle so they ended up sleeping back to back, in the middle. The following morning they had to take cold showers as there was no hot water. Saturday night the newlyweds were supposed to stay at the property but based on the conditions chose not to. Just disappointed overall as I was trying to do something special for my daughter’s big weekend.
