« Our first stay at Leeu estates did not disappoint. We have stayed at several other properties in the area and this one just sneaks to the prime position, as our new favourite. Very peaceful, luxurious, great service, wonderful dining options, fabulous rooms and amenities. Staff were excellent and couldn’t have been more helpful. « Excellent and friendly service in the hotel. Confortable and spacious rooms. Excellent location at walking distance or with the free shuttle to anywhere in frenchoek. Fountains are covering the road noise too and let you have very relaxing naps. Views on the mountains and on the frenchoek trams makes it really magical. Downside is For me the hotel is a replica of a Provençal house and for being French I have to admit that I don’t find it as charming as others. The interior design is lacking...

« The property is simply stunning. It’s so charming and the staff are wonderful. It’s a 20 min walk from the Main Street in Franschoek or a few pounds in an Uber. Don’t use the recommended car service from the hotel as it was 3 x more expensive than an Uber. Out toom eas lovely with a small kitchen are and separate dressing room and bathroom with both a huge bath and a separate shower. The buffet breakfast was lovely and the views even better! »

« The advert for this property is misleading. Wifi is only free for the first few emails. We received a letter stating that our stay was in breach of the terms of the estate and therefore could not use the public facilities (pool, tennis court etc). \ In addition there are numerous signs in the property, on walls, cupboards, on tables saying "do not touch", "stay out, private, property of owner" etc. This is in addition to a deposit required for the stay (which does not get repaid for 3 weeks)...
