I recently stayed at this house with a group of 8, and unfortunately, our experience was not what we expected. Firstly, I chose this property believing it would accommodate everyone comfortably, but the "4th" room is located in the backyard which is not anywhere in the property details. Upon arrival, it was extremely cold in the room outside and the portable heater provided didn’t work, which forced two of us to sleep on couches in the living room that barely fit four people. While the homeowners did send someone to fix the heating issue the following day, it was quite inconvenient for our first night.The house itself, though it has some upgrades, feels very old and outdated. I was disappointed with the cleanliness; the reviews led me to expect better. In fact, we found dead roaches in the cabinets next to the dishes, which is unacceptable. If you stay here, I recommend bringing paper plates, as the silverware and dishes are very old.Another downside was the lack of communication regarding Wi-Fi. The owner didn’t provide that information before our arrival, so I had to ask for it. There was also no host book in the house, which is unusual for a VRBO—especially for first-time visitors who could use local recommendations. On a positive note, the backyard, pool, and hot tub were nice, but everything felt old and dingy. The ice maker was just a small tray, so be sure to bring your own ice.The only positive for me was the location of this house is great!
