We were scheduled to stay on the property Saturday, Sunday and Monday night. Upon arrival, we checked the house and the temperature in the house was 82 degrees. We found the AC was not functionings properly. We contacted the host. The host made several suggestions to maybe fix the problem. None of the suggestions worked. The host tried to contact a repair person but since it was late Saturday afternoon the host could not find somebody to respond to the problem. The host also felt that we probably could not get the AC looked at and repaired on Sunday. The host asked me what I wanted to do, I said I wanted to cancel the reservation and get a full refund. The host agreed. To date, I have not received the full refund. VRBO says the refund must come from the host. The host says the refund must come from VRBO. I am caught in the middle. Dennis

This property is poorly maintained. The AC does not work the dishwasher upstairs does not work. the shower on the main floor was covered with plastic and taped off. There are no windows in the two bedrooms in the basement making them unsafe as far as getting out of the house in case of a fire. The ceiling in the one basement bedroom isn't finished, exsposing insulation electric wiring etc. There isn't enough silverware for more than 6 people. The kitchen is unorganized, the refrigerator has missing drawers and shelfs. One of the beds was uncomfortable another was dirty and one had the original plastic on the mattress which made a lot of noise if you moved at all! there were light fixtures that had no bulbs and one that started smoking. The bedroom with the bunk beds had so much unnecessary furniture in it that you can hardly get around. I didn't feel like the house was clean or safe. I don't think this property should be rented.

Terrible - not as listed and dirty

Amenities not as listed and we were not notified before check-in:First floor shower not usable - shower was covered with a tarp with note "under construction"Deck was not accessible - note on slider "do not use deck"Hot tub had been removedThe worst part was that the floors had not been vacuumed. It wasn't just tracked in dirt, there were pieces of fiberglass insulation on the floor. We got hotel rooms for the week because we were travelling with 3 kids.

Misrepresented Property and unethical host

The property was not clean and not as described. Attempted to resolve concerns with host and she insisted that in the 2 hours that we we in her property that we used her property while we were waiting the 2 hours for her to show up and that she would only refund one night for the 2 hours and keep the cleaning fee for the dirty property that was that way when we entered.

Worst VRBO house yet

The house was dirty. Light fixtures were hanging on the ceiling barely. Each room had combination locks on them. Some were locked others open. The host didn't respond to messages during our stay. We couldn't find another place in the area to stay. So we made the best of it and left the place much cleaner than we found it. I received this message on my email when I tried to message the host...Please note:This listing is no longer available on Vrbo.
