„A couple of nights away with the girls. The apartment was overall good. I should have checked when booking but there is no parking. The area Redlands is nice. The outside of the apartment needs tidying up. The beds and bedding were comfortable but when we went to make one of the beds into double (was a zip lock) the sheeting was filthy with bloody stains. The cleaner did come the next day to change the bedding but was a bit grim. The shower facilities weren’t great as the flow was very weak. ...

„A beautiful little cottage, spotlessly clean with everything we needed. We made the most of our short stay by visiting Stonehenge, Old Sarum, Salisbury and Bath. Being December it was lovely returning to a warm and cosy Rose Barn. The freshly made bread, butter, marmalade and jam were a lovely addition. We would definitely return.“

„This was the first time i have stayed at an apartment as normal use hotels, but this maybe the way forward for me as a frequent traveler. „Cheddar and the surrounding area is such a lovely part of the country and the Gatehouse matched that. The bed was large and very comfortable, the lounge perfect for snuggling away the evenings and the shower particuarly good! Parking also could not have been easier. Do note though, a lot of the roads in the area are narrow and twisty without footpaths so a small car is preferable and beware when walking them.“
