When winery hopping in Sonoma Valley, make sure you do not miss the Kendall-Jackson Wine Estate! The wine and hospitality here blew us away and we cannot wait to return. Also, since the winery selection in the region is so overwhelming, do not be shy about asking for recommendations or 2-for-1 tasting coupons. #California #Sonoma
"Love of the Land" annual Sonoma County Farm Bureau's fund raiser held at Richard's Grove at Saralee's Vineyard. A couple hours of silent auctions, tables of finger food from some of the best Sonoma County meat, produce, cheese, etc prepared by local talent, accompanied by so many of the finest local wineries that you can't begin to taste them all. THEN followed by chicken &tri tip BBQ at tables with bottles of fantastic wines, THEN local peach ice cream & pie. I topped off the evening by being highest bidder on a magnum of Pinot noir and another of Cab. Check out the Sonoma County Farm Bureau's website if you are ever in the area. Their fundraisers are a great way to have some of the best of all that this county can offer.
