We stayed four nights in Jayme & Jarrett's Yellowstone Retreat, Unit 4, VRBO. Their pride of ownership definitely shows. The apartment was spotless! The kitchen was well stocked with items you need to cook, and all were in excellent condition. All of the furniture is new and the decor is perfect for the area. The beds were really comfortable, and the bathroom had plenty of towels, storage space and little extras like shampoo. Having an in-apartment washer and dryer sealed the deal when I booked, and they too are new and worked great. The apartment was far more spacious than we expected. Parking is right outside the door, and we felt very secure in this rental.
The location is fantastic! Sometimes we find that owners exaggerate a bit - but not these owners! The unit IS three short blocks from the Roosevelt Arch/Northern Entrance to Yellowstone. Walking around to the eateries and shops was easy and fun. And don't be surprised to see Elk standing in the road or eating the crab apples in the neighbors yard. Every night we walked to the school to see a herd of Elk grazing in the football field (we felt sorry for the football team - but maybe they are used to dodging Elk scat!).
Thank you Jayme & Jarrett for creating such an exceptional home away from home! If we are ever in the Gardiner, MT area again, we won't hesitate to book with you. We'll be telling anyone we come in contact with that is planning a trip to the northern area of Yellowstone about this fantastic place!
