« The house/cabin was very unique, which was exactly what we need/expected. There were a few minor things that need some attention, and the property owners took care of those issues IMMEDIATELY! This property was very comfortable, spacious and due to its location, allowed us to skip the gridlock in downtown Gatlinburg...a HUGE bonus! »

« Home was exactly as described. Owner was extremely responsive and friendly. We had a great time. We all had fun with the pool table and video games. It took a little getting used to the steep inclines getting to the house, but after a few days it was like second nature. Every morning we got to see a differently family of bears on the property which made for some great photos. »

« The cabin doesn’t look all that big or impressive from the road, but you’re only seeing the top floor from that vantage point. Inside, it’s very nice, with plenty of room and amenities and a good layout. The view from the upper deck is absolutely beautiful. There are bears around (we saw three walking along the road on our first two trips in from town), so keep that in mind and follow the bear country tips. It does take a few minutes to drive into Gatlinburg, and a few more to get to Pigeon...

« Excellent property and the owner is very responsive. The view of the mountains from the porch was amazing, and the cabin was clean, cozy, and very fun with its pool table. It was a great place to see bears go by so I highly recommend if you’re looking for a relaxing smoky mountains retreat. »

« The house is very comfortable. We spent a lot of time in the sun porch. The sound of the river was soothing. It was calm enough at one point for a swim. A bear walked by! Beds and rooms were very comfortable. The location was perfect for walking to attractions such as Anakeesta and restaurants. If you like fish, The Trout House is very good. The Owner was great at responding to questions. »

« We loved our stay at this house! It had all the conveniences of a vacation home - pool, hot tub, pool table, and arcade game machine. Also, the house is in the Arts and Crafts community which was amazing because we forged knives and met amazing artists. Lastly, you are only 15 minutes from downtown Gaitlinburg. « This cozy little house is just wonderful. This was our second time staying and it’s just as lovely now as it was in May. We take our fur babies along with us and they feel right at home here and it does NOT smell like a “pet friendly” house, very clean and tidy. The beds are so comfy and even more comfy than my very own bed at home. This house is stocked full of anything you’d need and even more than you could ever think of.
