Freshly updated interiors, modern furniture, mountain views, and room for your whole crew! Welcome to Gatlinburg Views, our spacious five-bedroom cabin in Mountain Shadows Resort, approximately 3.2 miles from downtown Gatlinburg.
Enjoy morning coffee on one of three private decks, spend your days exploring the Smokies, and return for a relaxing soak in the heated spa or some friendly competition in the game room. With downtown restaurants, shopping, and attractions about a 10-minute drive away, depending on traffic, you can enjoy the mountain setting while staying close to the action.
Whether you’re bringing the family, reconnecting with friends, or celebrating time together, this newly modernized cabin offers a comfortable home base for your Gatlinburg getaway.
Updated interiors and room to unwind
We recently modernized the cabin’s furniture and interior, giving the space a fresh look for your next mountain escape.
The three-level layout provides room to gather and spread out, with five bedrooms and six beds accommodating up to 12 guests. Enjoy time together over meals, movies, and games, then retreat to your own bedroom when it’s time to recharge.
Please note that the bunk bed is suitable for children only, not adults. Consider this when planning sleeping arrangements for your group.
Three private decks with mountain views
Take in the Smoky Mountain scenery from three private decks. Settle into a rocking chair with your morning coffee, enjoy a quiet afternoon outside, or gather for a barbecue after a day of adventures.
Fall brings a colorful mountain backdrop, but the views and fresh air make these outdoor spaces a favorite throughout the year.
Spacious game room with pool and shuffleboard
Let the family competition begin! Our spacious game room features a pool table and shuffleboard, making it easy to turn an evening at the cabin into part of the vacation.
Watch the big game while challenging a family member to pool or shuffleboard, cheer on your team, and see who earns the bragging rights. It’s a welcoming place to hang out after hiking, shopping, or exploring downtown.
The TVs are equipped with Roku for access to streaming apps. Bring your own account logins and subscriptions where required, including for live sports, and remember to sign out before departure. Wi-Fi is available during your stay.
Relaxing heated spa
After a full day in the Smokies, unwind with a soak in the cabin’s heated spa.
Please note before booking: the spa’s jets and bubble functions are disabled. The spa is available for heated soaking, but it does not provide a jetted hot tub experience. Please replace the cover after each use to help retain heat.
Fully equipped kitchen and gas grill
Start the day with breakfast at the cabin, pack snacks for your adventures, and come home to a meal together. The fully equipped kitchen makes it convenient to prepare family favorites and enjoy a relaxed evening in.
A gas grill is also available for barbecues. Please follow the posted operating instructions and turn off the gas supply valve after each use.
Conveniences for longer stays
An in-cabin washer and dryer makes it easy to refresh clothes after outdoor adventures or pack lighter for a longer visit. With Wi-Fi, Roku-equipped TVs, and a full kitchen, you’ll have the everyday conveniences that help everyone settle in.
Complimentary resort amenities
Guests have complimentary access to Mountain Shadows Resort’s outdoor swimming pools and playground. Enjoy an afternoon by the pool or give the kids time to play between outings.
These amenities are shared with other resort guests. Pool access is subject to the resort’s operating schedule and availability.

You can also plan a guided underground tour at Forbidden Caverns, located farther outside downtown Sevierville. Allow additional travel time for attractions beyond the town center.
Flying in and getting around
McGhee Tyson Airport (TYS), serving Knoxville, is the closest commercial airport to Gatlinburg. Mountain Shadows Resort lists the airport at approximately 45 miles away. Allow roughly 1 to 1½ hours for the drive, depending on your route and traffic.
A rental car is a convenient way to reach the cabin, pick up groceries, and explore Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Sevierville, and the national park.
All distances and driving times are approximate and based on the resort’s location. Travel times vary by route, attraction, weather, and traffic. Allow extra time during holidays, busy weekends, and fall foliage season. Check attraction schedules and seasonal availability before heading out, and book popular shows and activities ahead when possible.
Pets welcome with advance approval
Your pets may be able to join the mountain getaway! Please contact us before booking with the number and size of your pets so we can confirm approval and applicable fees.
The nonrefundable pet fee is $200 per pet under 25 pounds and $295 per pet over 25 pounds. Please contact us to confirm the fee for a pet weighing exactly 25 pounds.
The standard limit is two pets. More than two requires advance owner approval, and additional restrictions may apply. Dogs must be crated when left unattended in the cabin.
Mountain wildlife and trash
Bears and other wildlife live in the area. Please keep food and trash secured, never feed wildlife, and do not leave food in vehicles, as it can attract bears and lead to vehicle damage.
Place trash in kitchen-size trash bags rather than grocery bags, then secure the bags in the designated storage bin on the deck for community collection.
Private cabin access
You’ll have private access to the entire cabin, including all five bedrooms, the kitchen, game room, laundry facilities, heated spa, and three decks. Resort swimming pools and the playground are shared amenities.
