Guests say it is close enough to downtown Gatlinburg but just far enough away, with big mountain views from the balcony. Our fall and winter picks: Anakeesta (~2.2 mi), Ripley's Aquarium (~2.3 mi), Gatlinburg SkyPark (~2.6 mi) and the Great Smoky Mountains park entrance (~3.3 mi). One heads-up: this is bear country, and guests regularly see them near the cabin.
