My family and I stayed in Apartment 1405 from August 16 to 18, and while the unit itself was aesthetically pleasing, our experience was disappointing due to several unresolved issues — and a complete lack of support from the property and management (Bentley).
To begin with, the bedding was completely inadequate. The master bedroom only had a thin linen, and there were no pillows or sheets provided for the pull-out bed. Our children were left sleeping with towels. Although our reservation listed two adults, we clearly communicated through Expedia that two children would be staying as well. We were forced to purchase additional bedding and duvets ourselves in order to get through the nights.
We reached out multiple times during our stay, calling the contact number provided and speaking with the front desk — but received no help. There was zero communication or follow-up from anyone, leaving us to deal with everything on our own.
To make matters worse, the air conditioning kept shutting off overnight, making the apartment uncomfortably hot and contributing to several sleepless nights.
The dryer was also malfunctioning and wouldn’t open despite repeated attempts. As a result, we had to leave behind a pair of expensive Lululemon shorts that were trapped inside.
When we followed up after our stay, Bentley informed us they would not assist us and that it was our own responsibility for purchasing blankets. They also made it clear they would not reimburse us for anything.
