Zu Fuß ist man in ca. 15 Min. in der Stadt, für Ausflüge, z.B. in die North York Moors oder an die Ostküste, ist man schnell auf der Ringstraße und umgeht den Stadtverkehr. „It was lovely. I don't know how the owners can up sticks and rent it out though, in the kindest way I mean! It was comfy, we loved the little conservatory even when it was slashing down with rain. „We have stayed here before, and really enjoyed the location and the house. It’s a perfect location for us, a good sized flat, and well-equipped. The one issue we had this time was that it was late November and very cold, and the heating had not been switched on before we arrived. Therefore, it was very cold and the heating was ineffective until it had been on overnight. We wore coats inside the house and were cold overnight. „Our main objective in visiting York was the trains! We especially enjoyed the York Minster, the wall, the Shambles & the incredible history. The Friargate location was perfect for our group of 8. Highly recommend this comfortable, beautifully decorated home. Only snag was getting a parking ticket for parking a van in the designated spot in front of the house. “
