While the house itself is beautiful, the management of this rental is terrible. From the moment we arrived, it was one issue after another. There were bugs in the shower, dirty towels, and no heat downstairs, making that part of the house unusable. The oven doesnât work unless youâre willing to go to the cold basement, and the outdoor lights donât work, forcing us to BBQ in the dark. Also, we didnât have access to certain rooms such as the washer/dryer. We couldnât even wash or dry our clothes from the snow. The worst part? The host is completely unresponsive. Despite booking three months in advance and reaching out with concerns before our arrival, we received no answers until the day before check-in, when they finally gave us the door code. Communication was so terrible that I had to contact VRBO to try to reach out to them. I also tried calling the host a few times while I was at the house for other concerns, they never answer. During checking out, even though the host was nice to let us check out a little bit late for the inconvenience they put us through , I contacted the host to let them know I was leaving, they left me on read, didnât have the decency to reply.This level of neglect and lack of communication made our stay stressful and disappointing. I strongly advise anyone considering this property to think twice and look elsewhere.
