A great time in Port Elizabeth
The host was great, the board walk (and the board walk mall) and at a walking distance. The guest house had room for about 6 cars inside the fenced parking lot. Overall we enjoyed it.

Great stay at a great property
The house is very nice and clean. Christopher, the staff in charge, was very helpful during our stay and even offered us a room upgrade! They pay attention to details, gave us some nice chocolate and drinks every night, and even a Christmas cake on Christmas day. Breakfast was fantastic, very well cooked and seasoned. We really enjoyed it. The pool area was also really nice and relaxing.

The property was a short walk to the extensive boardwalk along the beach. The owner was awesome! When he noticed that our card had been charged twice, he ran over from having dinner with his wife to make sure that our card was properly credited. The room was nice and big, which was great so we could get our luggage re-situated before we flew home. The made-to-order breakfast was delicious!!

Great location in a nice neighbourhood with good views. The property itself was immaculate and amazingly decorated with all the usual conveniences. Christopher was an outstanding host and was always on hand to help out if I had a query. Overall an excellent experience, would highly recommend.

The room smelt of damp. Especially in the restroom. Made for a very unpleasant stay. The bed however was very comfortable.

Great accommodation for a business visit. Quiet, good wifi, nice rooms, very comfortable bed. Guest house is nicely laid out. Service was excellent. Room had entrance onto garden.

Great place to stay.
We loved staying at this lovely upmarket B&B . We were lucky to get a early and an hour later check our. Thank you. We would have used the pool but it did not looked clean, so we walked to the beach instead.

New Years stay 2018
We stayed at Manor 38 in Port Elizabeth, three nights over New Years 2018. We enjoyed our stay there and the hosts were very welcoming and friendly. The room was a bit out of date and needed quite a bit of touch-ups, but all in all the room was ok and very clean. The best thing about the stay were the hosts and the excellent breakfast.

Mysigt boeende och serviceinriktad personal
Var på genomresa med familjen och stannade bara en natt på det här lilla mysiga stället. Kan inte dra mig till minnes när jag upplevde så bra service senast. Fantastisk personal. Vi kändes oss väldigt välkomnade, sedda och hemmastadda. Superb frukost serverades också.

Very good place to stay, is close to a very good neighborhood and the staff is great. The rooms are super new and clean, and they gave you every night some drinks and chocolate. The only disappointing thing was that breakfast was not included

Small but perfectly formed.
This is a small but beautiful property on a side street near the beach in Port Elizabeth. The staff was very friendly and courteous and the room was beautifully appointed. Breakfast is available, but no other meals, although there are good places to eat within walking distance. My minor quibbles: never could figure out how to get the TV to work; didn't care for liquid soap in the bathroom rather than bar soap; and there was the repeated sound of a door being slammed around 10:00 p.m. that went on for quite awhile. Never determined what the cause was.

Dear Patrick Thank you for your feedback. Our manager may have forgotten to mention the after-hours bel in the foyer. The manager lives on-site and the bell rings in his room. I have reminded the staff to point this out to all guests in future. We are able to order meals in for guests which we plate and serve in the dining room with a free drink Hope we see you again soon.
