Although not, five star, the property has everything you might need to be comfortable and is very clean. The restaurant Has a lovely menu and breakfast in the morning. Best of all the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. I love the fact that it is right across from the waterfront, nice for walking and even swimming if you care to.

All very good, except their windows were rather dirty. On the second floor, there’s a balcony, so it’s easier to clean the windows then elsewhere.

The property was great actually. Staff was friendly, food was delicious (the biltong was my favorite). The room was a lot smaller than I expected, and a couple of things that are normal in American hotels were not present here (I really needed an iron). Otherwise, would absolutely hang out there again. Location was right in the middle of everything.

Need a break rather report discomfort than leave
My husband and I were so excited to have an relaxing weekend. Everything went well with booking in, got our key and off to our room. Not long afterwards noise escalated from the passage which caused me to please ask the children (there for a sport opportunity) to not make so much noise as one of them also commented to stop making so much noise. My husband and I cannot understand why we were put in a room which were surrounded by these youngsters. We feel that we could have been placed in another wing from the youngsters.
Due to the noise we decided to go home on Saturday and not stay until Sunday.
I must say that the we were very impressed with the staff at Town Lodge Port Elizabeth, just a pity that the stay turned out not to good. We were offered other accommodation but unfortunately we were very unhappy and decided just to go home.

Thank you for reserving your room with us. It is however unfortunate that you were inconvenienced by the group in house. Due to the large number of participants in the event, all our twin rooms were taken and our buildings design / layout unfortunately does not allow for separating guests, which we have taken note of for future developments.
I believe Kym did try make contact on the day you departed to make alternative arrangements, however you had already packed up your belongings and were on your way out.
She will make contact in due course to discuss your extra night, with you hopefully allowing us an opportunity to redeem ourselves.
