This is my second stay at the Starfish and it is heaven on earth. Nothing compares to the wildlife encounters I’ve had at the scenic overlook. It’s clear how much Dennis cares about the island and I will continue to stay at his amazing cottages as long as he continues to offer them for others to enjoy. “

„The cottage was a comfortable space with spectacular views. We saw eagles, osprey, minke whales, seals (both harbour and grey types) as well as dozens of songbirds, etc right from the back deck and property. We even got to see a cruise ship pass by the house as it left port in Maine. The owner is beyond responsive. There was an issue with the back door lock and within hours it was fixed! „Centrally located on Campobello, quiet but friendly, hosts were lovely. If your idea of glamping is a 5-star hotel just in a tent, this probably isn’t for you. But if you’re looking for somewhere a little more comfortable and convenient than camping, don’t want to worry about whether it will rain, know what you’re getting into with a composting toilet, and a rustic outdoor shower is your idea of luxury, you’ll have a wonderful stay.“

„Other than the fact that the coffee maker took two hours to make a pot everything was great. Location was perfect for going to the light house at low tide. Beds were comfortable and the view from the master was amazing.“
