The VRBO was clean, plenty of room for two and right on the water. Beautiful view!The weather was hot and humid. As a second story unit it was extremely warm, with one box fan available, making it difficult for sleeping.

Perfect location - This VRBO has its own private beach access with direct views of Lake Superior, as well as very close walks to look at the harbor and lighthouse. You also have local restaurants, cafes, gift/clothing shops, and even a brewery in walking distance. Not mention World’s Best Donut is basically your next door neighbor. If you have or haven’t been to Grand Marais, this is a great stay.

Great location!!

This little accommodation fit us well. Food is near by (World's Best Donuts on the block as well as restaurants and coffee shops). So no need to cook. It was cool weather while we were there, so we turned on heat and were toasty warm. Shower was great! Beautiful view and owner was very responsive.

Goodness in Grand Marais!

Location, location, location. It was a perfect location. Quiet and close to all the cool places. Also the best view of the Great Lake Superior! The bed was perfect and the shower was excellent. Loved it.

Wonderful spot on the big lake

Clean and comfortable spot to enjoy the sights and sounds of the big lake, and the location is wonderfully walkable. Have stayed in both units in this building and it is a favorite spot when coming to Grand Marais for a relaxing getaway. Depending on the season, you can enjoy the sunrise from bed!

Perfect couples getaway

This was just right for our 10th year anniversary! We loved being right in town, being right on the beach, and seeing the lake as the sun is rising. Couldn’t have asked for more and had the essentials we needed for a wonderful stay!

Perfect weekend getaway

We were located on the beach and within walking distance of everything in town we wanted to go to. The view and room were beautiful and had class and coziness. There was no tv, which I was fine with me but my husband was not super happy about it. This could be a plus if you are just trying to unplug. We had a fire on the beach in the fire pit, and looked at the stars . I will definitely be back. We love Grand Marais.

Surprisingly Spacious Hide Away

Room was clean and comfortable. It was surprisingly spacious and while it can be a busy foot-trafficked area on the weekends, the spot was like a hidden cove of solitude. You can't beat the view - beach, waves, pine trees in the distance. I learned to close my windows on weekend evenings as people make fires on the beach and the smoke will blow right into the room. But the breeze off the lake in the early morning was so refreshing. Walls are thin so pray that there is not a loud party or heavy snorer underneath you. I would bring earplugs for sleeping just in case.

Relaxing Stay

We loved our stay. Location was perfect. Accommodation was cozy with beautiful views. We were able to walk to all shops and restaurants within minutes. Located basically at trailhead of lighthouse and Artist Point. Beach is private in front of building with fire pit. We will be back!
