âThis old staple of Mission Beach has recently changed hands. The new owners Tom and Kevin are super nice, genuine and helpful. My room and bed was comfortable and well appointed and looked on to the beautiful tropical courtyard. Recommended.â
âWe really enjoyed our stay at the Reef View Hotel. The transfer from the airport to the hotel was very pleasant. The welcome at reception was excellent and the hotel and surrounding area were very well explained to us. The rooms are very large and we had a great sea view from the 10th floor. A small negative aspect is that the rooms are a bit dated and you can see this in one or two places. A renovation is necessary from our point of view. The breakfast buffet offered a varied selection.

âLeider gab es nur fĂŒr ca 10% der GĂ€ste ( Lg Auskunft des Hotels 600) Liegen am Pool und an den StrĂ€nden. Da die GĂ€ste einfach ihre HotelbadetĂŒcher auf den Liegen lieĂen, konnte man auch nicht erkennen, ob diese besetzt sind oder nicht.
In der Hauptsaison scheint das sehr freundliche Servicepersonal etwas ĂŒberfordert....â
âEs war sehr gut. Leider ist die Dusche eine Fehlkonstruktion. Beim Duschen schwappt das Wasser ĂŒber die knapp 1cm hohe Kante und der Boden wird komplett nass. Sonst ein sehr schönes Hotelâ
âSuper Bungalows! Toll eingerichtet und nah am Strand. Mein persönliches Highlight, die HĂ€ngematte vor dem Bungalow, gemĂŒtlich morgens einen Kaffee darin trinken oder entspannt ein Buch lesen. Die öffentlichen Strandanlagen haben wir zum Sonnen und Schwimmen gut genutzt.â
âWe absolutely loved the nice and spacious Pool at the Rooftop with a nice View of magnetic island. Initially we only wanted to stay for a night on our way to cairns but we ended up extending by one night as we really loved it. Big and spacious room, Iâve never had that much space to put things, especially in the bath room. We parked our car just outside the hotel for free. Not too much in walking distance in terms of restaurants etc which was fine for us though.â
âGreat location. We got directly an upgrade to a superior flat, which was amazing. Nice pool, garage for free for the car and the pic up service for the trip to Fraser Island is directly at the hotel. â

"Sehr ruhige saubere und freundliches Hotel. GroĂes Zimmer trotz Zustellbett. GroĂes FrĂŒhstĂŒcksangebot. Sehr schnelles kompetentes Personal. Tolle Möglichkeit am Pool zu entspannen oder als Ausgangspunkt fĂŒr AktivitĂ€ten. Hafen und Restaurants sind nur 5 - 10 Minuten FuĂweg entfernt. "
"Zentrale Lage, direkt an der Esplanade von Cairns und nur 5 Minuten zu FuĂ zum Reef Fleet Terminal. Direkt vor der TĂŒr gibt es zahlreiche Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Besser geht es nicht! Parken kann man im Parkhaus des Hotels fĂŒr 15 AUD / Nacht. Aus unserer Sicht fĂŒr diese Lage absolut in Ordnung.
Das Zimmer ist sauber und hell mit genug Ablagemöglichkeiten.
Die Pools haben wir nicht genutzt, es gibt aber genug LiegeflĂ€chen. Das Gym ist eher klein , aber ausreichend - 2 LaufbĂ€nder, ein Fahrrad und zwei GerĂ€te fĂŒr RĂŒcken, Brust & Schultern. Leider keine Freihanteln dafĂŒr aber ein Pilates Reformer GerĂ€t was mal eine schöne Abwechslung war. Alles in allem eine super Ausgangslage fĂŒr Cairns."

The choice of excursions is also very varied, but sometimes also very expensive.
A big plus point is the free rental of non-motorized water sports.
All in all, we liked the Reef View Hotel very much and would definitely come back again. "
