« Super unique and fun stay. The owners are very friendly and helpful.Just a couple of suggestions for future guests planning on staying for more than a couple days: Take ice for the cooler, possibly an extra cooler, paper plates and utensils, paper towels, extra garbage bags. But I'm pretty sure if there was anything you needed/forgot the owners would supply or direct you on an easy means to get it. They are very responsive. I highly recommend you rent their boat. « Location is nice; in a historic city an hour from Orlando, nice view of the Indian river right across the street. The front facade of the building looks beautiful and new, but the rest of the exterior of the hotel looks old and run down. The reception area also looks old and dingy, but luckily the inside of my room looked very fresh, new, and clean, although some areas of the floor did leave our feet dirty. « Great location directly on the beach. Nice pool and beach access. Rooms seem recently updated. Beds comfortable. Plenty of towels (beach and bath). Staff was very friendly and responsive. One thing that could improve our stay would be some sort of shower caddy or shelf. There was no spot in the shower for shampoo/soap. Overall a great spot and we would stay again. »
