« If you’re looking for peace and quiet you found it. I sat out on the porch and just looked at the pond. Turned off the cell relaxed and enjoyed the view. The host was very accommodating. The home look just like the pictures and when I arrived the air conditioning was going which was great when your from California and not used to the hot sticky summers in Southern Illinois. »

« Needs better beds and some furniture for the living room. The beds we very uncomfortable. »

« We decided to book this place because it was close to Garden of The Gods, and it was available at a great price. The view of the Ohio River was amazing. The host was friendly, and the room was clean. The only issue we had was the doorknob to the bathroom would stick, making it a little difficult to get out of the bathroom. »

« The house was very clean and comfortable. Easy in and out to places we wanted to visit. Host was very easy to communicate with and we were even able to extend our stay one extra day without any issues. We would definitely recommend this house. You won't be disappointed. »

« Property was misrepresented. Was supposed to be 2 bedroom 2 bath handicapped accessible with ramp. They assigned us a one room 2 bed no ramp not handicapped accessible. We called after arrival then the host did not respond to 2 phone calls and a text message. When they finally got back to us they said they were sorry they assigned the wrong cabin to us. I asked for full refund called VRBO and asked for help with this. Now Verbo wants us to fight for our refund instead of just taking care of it. »

« This place is a cozy, charming, clean, close to everything we wanted to see in Paducah place to stay. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The host is very responsive and helpful. I wish we could have stayed longer. We would stay here again. »

« We enjoyed our stay here very much. Beds are extra comfy and there was everything you could need. We wished it had lake access since we stayed during a brutal heat wave but no big deal. »

« Great place right on the lake. We caught A LOT of catfish! Host was very responsive and friendly. »

« Ok. The WiFi did not work during stay. »

« Very nice house and a very nice lake. »

« Beautiful log home. The view of the lake couldn’t be better. Be aware that there are many, many steps to the water, but they are not steep. We are over 70 years old and were able to handle them, although we can feel it in our calves today. It was a plus to have the electric hot water pot. My husband likes his coffee in the morning, but I prefer tea. Perfect for us! »

« This was our second stay and very enjoyable ! A very quiet and comfortable room. Our host ,Shelly was so wonderful and we have wonderful breakfast and enjoyed meeting other guest for conversation . Highly recommend! »
