JE recommande
JE RECOMMANDE. Très propre, confortable, bien situé, personnel aux petits soins. Piscine petite mais agréable. Ustensiles de cuisine quasi inexistants. Même pas de passoire pour égouter des pâtes....Heureusement que ce ne sont pas les restaurants qui manquent, mais il y aurait un effort à faire de ce côté.

Établissement calme à 2 pas de la plage (il suffit de traverser la route) et à 20 minutes à pied de la vieille ville. Le petit déjeuner copieux servi par une charmante personne. Le seul bémol durant notre séjour n’est pas dû à l’hôtel mais à un chien attaché dans le bâtiment délabré d’à coté et qui à aboyer jour et nuit ...

Pratique et bon marché
Hôtel propre et bien situé devant la plage. Piscine ouverte mais encore trop fraîche début avril. Stationnement facile devant l'hôtel à cette période. 15 à 20 minutes de marche du centre ville.

Hôtel au bord d'une rue passagère (bruyante), avec un café au pied de l'hôtel, donc chambre au 1er, avec balcon vue sur mer peu praticable. Propreté de la salle de bain à revoir (y.c. fuite). Petit déjeuner en sous-sol peu agréable, salle impersonnelle. A 20 mn à pied du centre ville. Personnel serviable et accueillant.

Overall a great stay!
Over all this place is a fantastic location! The people and service were great. The only feedback I can give is a slightly better explanation of the new electronic systems and cleaning schedule would be appreciated.

On arrival we were given a side view sea room in place of the sea view room we paid for. The reason was due to occupants extending their stay due to ill health ?Although we were offered breakfast to compensate and moved 3 days later it was very disappointing after just arriving in Crete. Apart from that we had a great stay.

5 stars, full stop. I stayed at this property for almost 3 weeks and made 7 new bookings, which speaks for itself. I've been coming to Greece for 35 years, so I def. know my way around. This is an EXCELLENT property. I HIGHLY recommend it. Unbeatable value. I've stayed in many properties across the island, including in 4* & 5* hotels. This is my favorite property. Lots of reasons why. The property features modern hotel-style suites & apartment-style rooms that have a kitchen (sink/cutlery, stove, oven, BIG fridge). Both types of room are spacious, VERY clean, a 10-minute walk from the old town, 50 meters from the beach, parking is NO PROBLEM (def. a problem in Reth.), and it's right next to multiple supermarkets and plenty of good restaurants. Very quiet: rooms are soundproofed. You can always hear the waves from the room terraces, which is soothing & dreamy. Comfy, spacious terraces. The property is family-run, which makes a big difference in the quality of stay. Management takes personal accountability for every guest's stay like an individual, not a 'number.' The staff really does care and they go out of their way to be helpful, i.e. directions, recommendations, tips, etc. They are all locals & speak fluent English. *Katerina is the diligent, generous & elegant owner, Ismini is the chic, bubbly and always-positive lass; and Aris is the clever, conscious, and detailed chap who always goes out of his way to see how you're doing. Gold medal, well done.

Good Hotel
Nice stay at the Batis hotel. Good location 10 mins work from the old town. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Across the road from the beach, where 2x sunbeds with umbrella shade for 8 euro inc a soft drink/coffee. The hotel has it's own small pool, which is quiet, sun most of the day, but there is also a shaded area. Cleaner, came to the room every other day. The room was basic, but of a good standard. Nice place, nice friendly people.

A 3 star hotel with 4 star customer service
A three-star hotel with easy access directly to the seashore. The pool area is in the background and we didn't use it. There is a quiet area on the roof of the hotel where you can sunbathe or for example spend time reading a book. When booking a hotel, you should be careful about the location of the balcony, if this is important to you. Although you can see the sea from all the balconies also on the side, only the ones in front face the sea directly. However, the sun almost doesn't shine on front balconies at all and there is a busy road in front of the hotel between the sea and the building. There is also a bar in front of the hotel where they play music. Our balcony was on the side and it was more peaceful, although the view wasn't as great. The hotel staff was polite, helpful and friendly. They offer help and advice and give a good customer service also in advance. They answer email/Hotels.com -messages quickly. The cleaning lady did a great job! She paid attention to the customers needs and was responsible for daily comfort. Very clean hotel! The bed was not the best but not bad either, 3 stars. The air conditioning worked excellently. Kitchen equipment for vacation ok, although the stove was peculiar and difficult to use. A couple of wishes for the hotel: a bidet shower and a microwave oven would be a good addition to the rooms. Nice and clean hotel and good location!

A estadia foi ótima, o hotel é bem localizado e de fácil acesso. O staff é excelente, com destaque para as senhoras do pequeno almoço (café da manhã) que é simples mas muito saboroso e o suficiente para começar o dia. O único ponto negativo a apontar é a cabine do duche; muito pequena. Mas mesmo assim, recomendo.

Nice apartment in good location
The hotel is in a very good location, an easy 10 minutes walk from the centre of Rethymnon. It has a nice pool and is just across from the beach. The apartment we had was spacious and everything in it was quite new. The TV had BBC World and the wifi worked well. There is no private parking, but we had no difficulty in parking in the side street or nearby. The parking situation may be different in high season. The staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and have no hesitation in recommending it.

Enjoyable stay but hardly saw anyone in hotel apart fron anyone on reception. Rooms cleaned and towels changed everyday. Small pool with only a few sunbeds in limited area around pool. Cactus bar beer expensive at 4.50 euros a pint of draught

We would kindly like to inform you that your stay was during the most quiet part of the season in Rethymno - end of October and still the hotel was half full. People take the time to go on excursions leaving early morning. Moreover please let us note that, prices of our bar are completely competitive. So glad that we booked and stayed at Batis, loved it! The room was the cleanest apartment/ hotel i have ever stayed in, the staff were so friendly and helpful. The beach is brilliant, location is great, you can walk along the promenade to various shops and restaurants. We are hoping to come back soon for another holiday. Wir verbrachten einen Teil unserer Kretarundreise in diesem günstig gelegenen,übersichtlichen,von der Eigentümerfamilie freundlich geführten Hotel.Gute Parkmöglichkeiten auf der Nebenstraße.Gutes Preisleistungsverhältnis,da gegeben:direkte Strandnähe,Pool,W-Lan,nahegelegener Supermarkt und jegliche Geschäfte sowie Restaurants sowie zweckmäßige Räume mit großen Balkons.Somit beste Empfehlung für u.a. Mietwagenrundreisen.

Vi kom kl 15 ca til batis hotellet , da blei vi møtt av en hyggelig dame som kunne fortelle oss at rommet ikke var helt klart men va klar om ca 30 min. pga seint ute dem andre som hadde bodd der. dem tok seg av bagsje i mellomtiden og anbefalte oss ein resturang 100m til høgre ut fra hotellet. husker ikk navn , men god mat var det. Vi kom tilbake og blei møtt av en annen på hotellet som var veldi hyggelig, kansje litt for hyggelig men ok. han skulle fortelle om hvordan ting skulle være hvordan volum knappen fungerte og av og på knappen fungerte hehe, litt mye ble det men han gjorde bare jobben sin og litt mer. vi var bare en natt på batis hotellet for vi skulle videre til santorini. eneste jeg kan si på er at air condition var ikke med i prisen siden det ikke var kontroll for det der. så var det litt lengre å gå inn til sentrum enn jeg trodde men 10 min rask gange så er du inne i byen. hotellet har og stranden rett ved siden av. bra hotell forhold til pris.mvh Tcs

Cheap, clean and lovely welcoming owner
We wanted a well priced hotel that was far enough from the town centre to avoid the crowds but close enough to walk in for meals. This place was perfect. The hotel wasn't really set up for breakfast, although it was possible to have it on request. The pool was tiny but that wasn't priority, so we didn't mind. The woman who runs it and her daughter were really lovely and friendly. The room had basic cooking facilities and a fridge, but again we didn't need them. For a clean, cheap, friendly place we'd recommend it.
