Vue magnifique sur la mer et la ville, parfaitement situé à deux pas de la place centrale et du marché! Nous avons adoré notre séjour dans cet établissement et George nous a très bien accueilli et conseillé lorsque nous lui avons posé des questions! La femme de ménage est passée à tous les jours, même si on avait pris soin de mettre le signe de ne pas déranger sur la poignée de porte! Elle voulait s’assurer qu’on avait tout ce que nous avions de besoin!! Un hôtel à recommandé à tous!

L’hôtel est plutôt bien avec une belle vue sur Ermopouli….mais je ne pense pas que le prix de la chambre à174 Euros soit justifié. Étant un grand voyageur, avec l’habitude de passer d’hôtel en hôtel, on a quand même l’impression de faire du mécénat dans une période un peu trouble économiquement. Pour être plus clair, je veux bien venir en Grèce aider le secteur touristique, mais c’est toujours désagréable d’être pris pour un pigeon….

cher Monsieur Nous sommes heureux que vous ayez été satisfait de votre séjour parmi nous. Quant au prix, le prix au cœur du mois d'août avec une très forte demande et en fait pour une nuitée est élevé, certainement beaucoup plus bas que les îles françaises ou autres correspondantes par exemple Mykonos pour la période respective. Hotel is very nicely located in the city center, in my opinion this is the place to stay if you travel to Syros. Vespina always prepared an amazing breakfast, full of different varieties, very delicious! George was very kind and took his time to explain island surroundings and ways around the island! Many thanks to both Vespina and George for providing an excellent service! Would be happy to come back again!

Excellent Choice
Very good central location for exploring Syros. The seaview room is spacious and comfortable. George the owner was welcoming and made good suggestions for seeing the most interesting parts of the town. Thoroughly recommended.

Everything was great. The room was very clean and spacious. The hotel is well located next to the ferry station, the bus station to several beaches and very close to the city centre. I would definitely recommend. Thanks a lot to the staff of Hotel Ethrion.

Spacious, clean and well located
Very clean and suitably located to the city centre. Host was extremely friendly and helpful, while the room was spacious and convenient. Only problem (which is true for the whole city actually), the lack of parking space.

We are pleased to know you are satisfied , as about the parking , yes Ermoupolis city(neoclassical built 1830) and especially in the center has limited parking space. The municipality has free parking space at the edge of the city and free bus shuttle service to city center. Regards

Great Hotel for your Syros stay.
We were very pleased with our stay. Breakfast is served, not buffet, you have choices to suit every taste. Our corner room had a view of the harbor and two balconies. The bed was comfortable and staff was frindly and accommoding. Hotel was less than a ten minute walK from the ferry. We would highly recommend this hotel for you stay in Syros.

Το δωμάτιο είναι ευρύχωρο αλλά η καθαριότητα πολύ μέτρια καθως περιοριζόταν μόνο στα βασικά σημεία του χώρου. Κάποια πράγματα θα μπορούσαν να αντικατασταθούν με νεώτερα καθώς ηταν πολυ φθαρμένα, όπως το κάθισμα της τουαλέτας. Υπήρχε μηχανη εσπρεσο στο δωμάτιο που ηταν χρήσιμη προσθήκη. Η τοποθεσία ήταν πολύ κεντρική και βολική.

Good value for money
The service was great the room is what you pay for. I personally did not find it comfortable and I found the bathroom out dated however the view was amazing. You are paying for the view and the great service.

What can I say? I usually don't do these kinds of reviews, but once in a while I make an exception. I loved this hotel, everything from the location, room, breakfast, hospitality of owner Giorgos was memorable and perfect. Only regret is that I could only stay one night. The hotel is very close to the port, but a little behind it so you feel things are at more relaxed pace. Wifi was fast and reliable, too.

L'albergo si trova in zona centrale ma tranquilla nella città principale dell'isola. Le camere sono ben mantenute e la nostra aveva una piacevole vista aperta. Il proprietario George molto cordiale e sempre disponibile nei confronti dei suoi ospiti. Consigliamo la struttura.

A lovely Stay in Syros
Loved our stay with George at the Ethrion. He is very helpful with your questions and with giving you an overview of the island and town so you can make the most of your vacation. The room was very comfortable, we had a lovely balcony with a sea and city view. The room had robes and a coffee maker, so you can enjoy your first cup of coffee in the morning on the balcony. The rooms have been renovated nicely and are very comfortable and a good size. We enjoyed our stay there and would recommend it to our friends.

Had a fantastic stay in this hotel, the owner George was very helpful and welcoming. He provided great information about Syros island, the best beaches, good restaurants, how the buses worked, etc. The hotel is perfectly located, less than a five-minute walk from the centre of Ermoupolis. The room was impeccably clean and the bed was extremely comfortable, the view from the balcony was also stunning. The breakfast was very tasty and well worth the six euro. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here, would definitely stay again. I would highly recommend to anyone staying in Syros as it is the perfect location to explore the rest of the island.

Sea view room was great. The owner,George, is super friendly and very helpful. The hotel's location is in a very steep neighborhood which requires a lot steep hills to climb or steps. Fortunately taxis are reasonable on Siros and the drivers are honest.Also,for older travelers such as ourselves, the hotel lacks sufficient handrails. Despite the above mentioned drawbacks, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Ethrion.

No parking anywhere!
We drove 4 nearly 2 hours to find parking. None could be found in the port of Hermoupoli. Stay away from Syros...if u decide 2 go good luck! How can I unload your bags from a car to search 4 a hotel that is NOT even connected to a street you can drive to?

Dear Mr George I am really sorry for the inconvenience but Ermoupolis city is a traditional city with just two main streets for cars and limited parking space which is much more intence during summer in Ermoupolis center that 's why the municipality has two big free parking spaces at the edges of the city and free bush shuttle service offered. We clearly write on internet that the hotel doesnt offer any parking space although there are some free parking spaces (which are not always available)The car arrives about thirty meters from the hotel entrance where it can park for a short time to unload the luggages . We are sorry but you could mail or call us on the phone to give you directions how to find us by foot or by car(given that we are located within a distance of 150 meters from the port and 300 meters from where the ferry arrives) by car you could arrive just 30 meters away from the hotel entrance. regards George

Beautiful room and extremely nice owner!
The owner was very nice, he offered us juice and showed us things to do and places to go around Syros on a map when we checked in. He also let us keep our luggage there after check out since our boat back to Piraeus was later in the afternoon, which was so helpful! The room was beautiful with a very comfortable bed, pretty furniture, a nice and spacious bathroom and a balcony. Would recommend for sure!
