30 people comfortably fit, A wonderful spacious home with two grand porches that overlook the canal with access to the Saint Johns river. Amazing kitchen perfect for cooking for large families! Park your boat and take it to the Stadium only 45 minutes away from Downtown Jacksonville by boat! 6 Bedrooms and a bedroom loft with two couches and a double bed bunk bed to accommodate everyone comfortably! There are two bedrooms with king size beds on the firstfloor. One of the bedrooms downstairs has an en-suitebathroom. The second en-suitebathroom is attached to the master bedroom upstairs. The loft above the garage has an en-suite bathroom as well. An additional loft with a king size bed a queen bed and 85” tv with an insuite bathroom is available for $250 per stay.

The house had the perfect amount of holiday decor for our large family gathering for Christmas. Beds for everyone! It was well stocked with consumables such as trash bags, shampoo, toilet paper, etc., This included several coffee serving options with various sweeteners and honey, from a full brewing pot to a single-serve Keurig. If you plan on cooking for a large group, be sure to bring coolers, as there is only one full size fridge. The host was very responsive and helpful. We hope to have an opportunity to stay again. Highly recommend.

Great House for a Large Party

We enjoyed our stay. The home is large and well-appointed. It is in a nice, quiet neighborhood with easy access to shopping. The kitchen is huge and the screened patio, great for entertaining.

Memorable Stay

We came from out of town and stayed in the area because of my son's wedding at a nearby venue. Throughout the long weekend this big, beautiful home allowed us to share numerous get-togethers with different members of our extended family. Our family had a great time celebrating our dad’s 89th birthday! 18 of us traveled from North Carolina. Being able to stay in the same house made our stay extra special. Gene came to the rescue after a previous venue cancelled a reservation a week before the planned date.His house comfortably hosted all 20 of us.The cabinets and switches in the living room and kitchen area was all clearly marked.Beds were comfortable, and the bunk bed mattresses are larger than expected.The location was quiet yet convenient.Gene himself was very responsive as a host, answering all of our questions and concerns in a prompt manner.This is definitely a venue I would reserve again for a future event.

We live in the same neighborhood as the property and had all our children and grandchildren visiting. This property helped us enjoy a relaxed time making those memories! Magical wedding reception

Gene and Maya were very kind and flexible and really went abovr and beyond to allow us to have the first event held at the home. My family was so comfortable staying here and the view of the canal was priceless. I couldn't have had a better wedding ceremony! We are forever grateful!

Graduation week

Our great nephew graduated and the home was in the perfect location close to my nephew. The house was spotless and had every amenity imaginable.My nephew picked us up with his boat at the private boat dock located at the house. We all enjoyed the game room playing air hockey. The beds were fabulous and we will definitely be back.

The property was absolutely perfect from all angles. The house upon arrival was absolutely spotless not a dust bunny anywhere. The layout, the size , the labeled drawers the bouquet of flowers on counter the quantity of games the feeling of home was spot on. My memory I’ll take forever is touching the manatees that cruised by the dock in the back yard so close we touched them…

There was one roll of toilet paper in the whole house. There were 5 bathrooms in the main house.The outside patio area was not clean at all. I spent hours cleaning it because we hosted a Wedding Rehearsal luncheon. The outside carpet and outside furniture was very stained and embarrassing to host. The lawn was not cut and tons of weeds. There were empty garbage cans at curb and full garage cans not put out that smelled terrible. I put the cans in and out. Disappointing for the cost of the stay.

Family Reunion

It was a beautiful house. We couldn't ask for a more roomy house for our reunion. There were plenty of bedrooms and beds. We even had extra beds that we didn't use. It had a very nice back porch that I wish we could have enjoyed more. The kids played corn hole but it was a little chilly for us to use the patio and enjoy it. I would highly recommend this property if you are looking for a very nice large roomy home for a trip to this area. We would defiantly go back to this property.

Description is deceptive

The property DOES NOT have 8 bedrooms. It is a deceptive image in the advertisement. You MUST read the description carefully. There are 6 bedrooms in the main house. The loft has a bed and could be used as a sleeping area. The 7th bedroom is above the garage and is an additional charge. The property does not have 6.5 bathroom. It has 4 bathrooms in the house and a half bath (toilet/sink), so 4.5 baths. The bedroom above the garage does have a full bath with the additional charge to rent the room.So again, the picture shows 8 bedrooms and a loft. That is incorrect.

Nice house but not recommend

This house is very big and nice. However when I booked this property in the description was 8 bedrooms. When I arrived it was only 7 bedrooms. The owner edited his description because when I looked back at it the pictures were different. Arriving I had to call the owner for the access code it was never sent to me. The entire time of my stay the Wi-Fi didn’t work. The lights in the bathroom didn’t work. The tv in the living room speakers were no good. I contacted the owner about Wi-Fi several times. And last but not least in the living room is a picture of white men on horses with dogs leading them to the slaves(plantation). The neighborhood also had racist things in yards.
