Our friends and family came together and share a lovely Thanksgiving at this beautiful home. We loved the location and open home design. The views while we cooked together was inspirational and provided the perfect backdrop for a warm and lovely holiday gathering

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house worked great for us, including our friend with mobility issues (walker, wheelchair). The house and grounds were as described and the kitchen/living area are better (more open) than pictured due to a recent renovation. The kitchen was well supplied. Being east facing on the bay was a good thing--no strong ocean winds, allowing us to eat on the patio. The house is centrally located on the island allowing easy access north to south. We especially liked hiking at Trillium Woods and Deception Pass and walking/tide-pooling on Double Bluff beach. The rental agency was very helpful and easy to work with. We highly recommend staying at Orca Ridge.

This is a great house. Very well located and beautiful view. Great big living room for our family to play in and for the kids to run around. It was great that it was dog friendly. Our only complaint is that there was only one oven. The big oven is not working and there was only a small one which was difficult to cook for our family or a Thanksgiving dinner.

Beautiful home

This home is beautiful and has a great view. Being able to bring our pup was also a bonus, he loved running around the back yard. The shower head in the primary bath needs to be cleaned or replaced as it sprays on the walls and not you. We found mice had eaten food left on the counter, so be ware. The kitchen cabinets are really loud, so who ever sleeps in the living room should be a heavy sleeper. Overall, it was a great stay.

Christmas at Orca Ridge

Beautiful home- just right for our week-long family holiday celebration. Our only issues were mildew in the jacuzzi bathtub and running out of propane (so no heat in 13 degree weather) on the last day of our stay. Otherwise, we loved the location and layout of the house. Beautiful views of the water and great walks on the beach.

Incredible Weekend

We stayed 3 night at this beautiful house. We were 3 couples relaxing, playing games, and enjoying the few. Although the master bed was too soft, there was plenty of room for all of us.

Relaxing Retreat

We stayed at the Greenbank property for part of a recent family vacation in the Seattle area. Whidbey Island and the house were definitely highlights of our trip! The house and setting are lovely and the pictures don't do either justice. We would love to return again.

Family Retreat

We really enjoyed this property for a long weekend family retreat. The house was the perfect size for our extended family and dogs and the fenced backyard was awesome. The views of Mt. Baker and Mt. Rainier were amazing and the location was peaceful and serene.

Amazing house, incredible view!

Sprawling house on incredible property. We brought two dogs, and they loved running in the fenced backyard. Every bedroom had amazing views of the water. Kitchen was very well stocked, dual dishwashers were a nice touch (although overkill for just the 3 of us). Tech at the house (TVs, WiFi, etc.) was well maintained and easy to use. We used this as a bit of a COVID escape, it was just what we needed. Close enough to Freeland grocery and Langley downtown, but remote enough to feel really "out in the country"... spectacular.

Reviewer Comments: The house is in a beautiful location, great bones and has a lot of potential but definitely needs a lot of TLC. Unfortunately the pictures online look way better than the current reality. We did make some obvious suggestions that could help future guests (new outdoor rugs, new pots/pans, repair freezer, clean cobwebs and corners of house from spider/flies, general cleanliness needs improvement).

The staff on-call was extremely helpful and responsive and even the neighbors were kind as we exchanged cookies/desserts with them. The house comfortably slept 12 adults, and all the amenities (laundry, kitchen, hot tub, etc.) were well-maintained. We'd highly recommend this place to other groups and would love to return in the future.

We just arrived back home from a five day stay and we were so sad to leave!! The property is bright, relaxing, well maintained with the exception of a few minor wear and tear things but we would absolutely return. We saw a gray whale twice just off shore and it stayed feeding for hours. The lawn and view are fantastic. Only word of caution is that the beach is not that easy to walk on (rocky and lots of mussels) but we did it anyway and enjoyed it. Great home!

Beautiful Home!!

This amazing home has great open space, with a nicely groomed back yard that opens to expansive water views. We enjoyed the company of nesting bald eagles, sea lions, and a grey whale during our visit! Property was clean, quiet, and a great getaway for us.
